As a strawberry drink and dessert beer - the best for me. Not subject for taste evalating as a beer, but of course much better than juices of the same taste. Meanwhile has witbier cloudiness (and nice strawberry red color), nice white foam, leaving the rings on the glass.

Enjoyed on 10/18/2011
Had on tap at Delerium Cafe in Brussels.
I should start by warning that I am not a fan of fruit beers - they are generally too sweet or sour for my palate and I don’t enjoy them. This Floris Strawberry, however, might be the best of the sweet fruit beers I’ve ever had (ignoring the ones like Cantillon that are actually well balanced).
Poured ruby red into a tall pilsner with minimal head. Nose was absolutely blasted with strawberries. Like walking in a field of fruit in spring.
Excellent mix of sweetness and berry tart on the tongue. Supper bubbly, like champagne. The CO2 acidity nicely balances the strawberry sweetness. Very crisp! Perhaps some hint of other berries, possibly black raspberry. Little bit of Rhubarb-like tartness at the end. Just a touch of alcohol lets you know that it is actually a beer.

Ótima fruit beer de morango. Perfeita harmonia entre sabor e aroma. Podia beber somente isto pelo resto da vida.

Draft at Euston Tap. Pours a dark, opaque purple-red with a strong, red head. Potent strawberry nose. Medium to high sweetness but not overdone, with some nice tart and sour notes and light bitterness towards the end. Light to medium in body with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes sweet, with more strawberry and light tartness. Very, very good.

For my money, this is the best of Huyghe’s fruit beer range. It’s a beer for the right occasion (you don’t say to yourself, "I feel like a beer - hey, here’s a strawberry wheat beer!") It’s great with a bitter chocolate tart. I served this with that at the end of a beer dinner and the guests loved it. Probably the most popular combination of the entire dinner. I find it too sweet to drink on its own but my girlfriend loves it. It pours a peachy-pink colour with a big fizzy head that laces well. The nose screams strawberries but there are also banana notes and a hint of sherbet. It’s a refreshing summer drink, light in body and zesty. Nice bitter-sweet balance. Sweet and tangy. (Bottle)

Wow! This got some bad ratings in the past.. Dark yeast at the bottom, a bit hazy brown-dark red with a small white head. Tart aroma of strawberries, yeast. Taste strawberries, cucumber and a bit of honey.

330ml bottle bought at Gorgeous Wine & Cigar in Yuen Long. Cloudy, hazy and dull light ruby red colour with dirt-like yeast sediments ; Very thin head and off white foam which last about 30 seconds; Small and sticky lacing with notable carbonation; Aroma of fresh strawberry, strawberry juice, rhubarb and sugar; Medium sweet taste of strawberry juice, very light malt, carbonated soda water, molasses and light white wine; Mid to light body, thin but slick palate; Taste profile is largely strawberry - fruit and juice - with moderate sweetness accompained by mildly tart vinery taste. Its body is suitably thicker to back up the sweet taste. A nice feature. Hoppiness is manifested in aroma, bitterness is close to zero, with sweet and dry as finish; Pretty dry after taste, extremely easy and tempting to mouth.
Comments: this is quite a well-made fruit beer. Compares to Van Diest’s Fruli Strawberry, this is thicker in body, with appropriate sweetness, tartness and refreshing taste. Perhaps the best fruit beer from the Floris’ fruit beer line up. Recommended.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
