2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
The aroma is very fruity with raspberries, sugar, and slightly funky yeast. The appearance is cloudy red with a foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma and reminds me of raspberry jam. The palate is a little weak. Overall though this is good.

Bottle. Pours a beautiful magenta with a dark pink head. Solid raspberry jelly in the nose. Refreshing and zesty raspberry flavors tickly the tongue, guided by a tingly and light pricking of the tastebuds. Best framboise I’ve had so far.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
From a bottle labeled as Floris Framboise. The body is very hazy and dark red. On top is a fluffy pink head that fades to a thin scum. The aroma is rich raspberries with some hints of roses. The taste has some decent hard raspberry candy. This gets richer as you drink more and it is a little metallic. The mouth feel is fairly soft. This is decent for a sweet fruit beer.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Capone’s. Turbid magenta pour with 1-finger light pink head. Aroma of big Jolly Ranchery raspberry, with some earthy notes. Tastes of raspberries, with some earthy malt notes, but mostly very sweet raspberries. Gets a bit cloying and too sweet at the end, but this one isn’t bad as a dessert aperitif of sorts.
