2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A cloudy deep red colour with a thin pink head. Aroma is pretty 1D - mostly raspberry jam mixed with with some belgian wheat funk - but pretty agreeable. Flavour is big on raspberry syrup, edging on the too sweet but there is enough wheaty tartness to drag it back somewhere near balance. I had expected a train wreck, but this isnít bad. Slightly too sticky and edging on too sweet but ok in a pinch.

Bottle. Good carbonation. Pink thick head. Dark red/purple color. Really nice aroma of raspberries. Good raspberry taste. A bit sour but not much.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy cranberry red color. Fresh raspberries, yogurt and a sweet cordial aroma. Hints of candy and circus peanuts. Flavors have a mix of green and red raspberries. Touch of vinegar and a sweet acid. Sticky, yet smooth in feel. Still rather sweet, even with the acid to cut things back. Thanks Blake.

Pours a beautiful red/pink. Looks like dark raspberry juice, and smells like it as well. The taste is nice for two major reasons: 1, The raspberry taste is more tart than sweet, and 2, there is still a bit of a malty taste to it, lost in so many other fruit beers (including some other Florsigaarden beers). The acidity is crisp, but not overpowering. Still, it is a bit too sticky...

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a deep, pinkish/red with a thin, pinkish/white skin and ring. Raspberry aroma seems true, but there is an undertone of artificial sweetener that I canít escape. Flavor is very tart to start with an immediate acid burn. Raspberry flavor is thick while the body holds full and sticky. In my opinion this is not as good as <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/florisgaarden-po Pomme, but itís still a step up from what is traditionally recognized as a "fruit beer".

Hazy, darkened ruby red grapefruit look with ghostly grey lace. Fresh raspberry kernels, sickly Splenda sugared raspberry yogurt and watermelon jolly ranchers do little to nudge me forward. Sweet vexations collide as the sockets quest for water in a suck-tifying force. Itís quite a dry tongue load despite the seeming pastry syrup that firstly bombards the senses. Carbonationís reduced to supplant the raspberry syrup thatís concocted for cheesecake but fails to hail from dessert status on all accords. In and down. Thus is the story of the palate. Coalescing, ambivalent and embarrassment in a glass. Kernels extrapolate additional sugar and put the palate in a diabetic coma. Thanks for sharing 1FastSTi.

Waaaay to pricey. Pours to a hazy ruby red body that looks sorta like New Glarus raspberry tart. Thin white head. The aroma is red raspberry preserves, lightly funky barnyard. The flavor is red raspberry preserves, funky cheese or something. Very sweet. The palate is very sweet and sticky.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Murky dark red beer with laminated pink head (=that means redness shifts from dark red beer to nearly creamcoloured foam at the top of the head), very fine. Horribly sweet, syrupy "fruit/raspberry" aroma, revolting childrensí sweets nose. Pretty sweet, but - thank God - less syrupy, artificial raspberry taste. Still, itís "not exactly" natural. Sweet with hints at fruitacids, without ever delivering. Medium bodied, bit fruitdrink-like. If the nose doesnít put you off, and you have a (very) sweet tooth, you might actually like this.

Milky pink brew that has a wild ass kicking aroma of Raspberries. No more no less. I mean it smells nice but not like anything I have ever had. Taste like rasp-berry Yohoo. Pretty weird. And very sweet

Actually a drinkable brew, pouring a very murky violet with a respectable pink head. The aroma is fresh raspberries, pure íní simple. There seems to be other berries added to the flavor, along with an almost citric tartness. Not my favorite style of brew, but certainly a refreshing change for the warm months ahead.
