Actually a drinkable brew, pouring a very murky violet with a respectable pink head. The aroma is fresh raspberries, pure ’n’ simple. There seems to be other berries added to the flavor, along with an almost citric tartness. Not my favorite style of brew, but certainly a refreshing change for the warm months ahead.

Bottle @ a friends place. Gift from me for his birthday. Very nice ruby red color, small pink lacing. Smell very very sweet, as Dutchdrebus would say ’roze kermis-zuurstok’. Taste incredibly sweet, candy and lightly fruits. Low to medium carbo, low body.

Sampled at Antwerp beer festival. Red pour with a large pink head. Aroma of sweet raspberry but also slightly tart. Same aspects in flavour with the tartness making it slightly more interesting than it would have been. Medium body and low carbonation.

Smells like an intense jam or fromage frais. Taste follows through in a similar strong style. A bit mono-dimensional.

330ml bottle. Pours very dark red in colour with a soft pink foam that is deep and full. Aroma of raspberry, sweet and intoxicating, almost like raspberry jam. A lot of sediment in the final pour. Tart bitter raspberry flavour that is not too bad after you get over the initial first mouthful. In the mouth the beer is quite full and on the palate the flavours stays around. This is not a beer that you could easily drink a lot of but it would be a great match for a raspberry tart covered with a mountain of fresh cream.

Bottle. Deep red with a small pinkish head. Pleasant raspberry aroma, quite candy-ish. Sweet sugary flavor of raspberries with light acidity in the finish. Too sweet but still enjoyable and refreshing.

Bottle, small quickly dissapearing pink head, hazy dark red colour with purple taints, aroma of raspberries, a bit industrial, raspbery flavour which more natural with an empathic sour element, but with almost no bitterness making this feel more like a thirst quenching raspberry juice with a long sour aftertaste then a beer.

33cl Bottle. Pours a cloudy deep pink in color with just a bit of bubbles on top. Huge raspberry aroma, very pleasant. Sweet and tart, more sweet nice fruit flavor. Soda like mouthfeel, a bit syrupy substantial body. Overall a decent one yet not as nice as the St. louis or Lindemans.

330mL bottle poured red with voluminous pink head and slight lacing. Aromas of rspberries. Initial flavor of raspberries, finishing with some hop bitterness and yeast on the palate. An easy drinking fruit beer, but definitinely not a lambic.
