Bottled. An unclear light bordeux beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of raspberries. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of raspberries, leading to a tart finish. A bit too much, but OK.

Keg at the Euston Tap; dirty ribena pour with creamy pink head, taste is sweet jam with the minimalist of malt action GF rate.

Hazy reddish with a medium pink frothy head. Aroma of raspberries. Sweet-sour with raspberries, a bit sugary and yeasty. Quite plain, syrupy and too sweet, but OK.

Cloudy red-brown. A bit of white foamy head. Raspberry, chocolate aroma. The taste is of tart fruit bitterness with sweetness in the background. The rasperries reassert in the aftertaste and finish. Pleasant for what it is, not perfect and somewhat imbalanced.

Cask on tap at Paisley Beer Festival 2014 - murky pinkish brown, thin creamy head, huge sweet raspberry aroma, intermittent lacing, strong raspberry flavour, creamy, high carbonation, prolonged fruity aftertaste

Bottle. Dark pink/red. Raspberry syrup and candy aroma, raspberry syrup taste. Light body, sweet finish. Like a very peaty single malt, this beer too opens up and tastes better with the addition of water.

Labeled Beau Jardin Framboise. +++ Sampled from a 750 ml corked brown bottle this beer poured a rd-brown color with a medium sized fluffy pink head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet strawberry and raspberry jam. The flavor was very sweet strawberry and raspberry jam with a bit of bread underneath. Long sweet berry jam finish. Moderately full bodied. Pretty tasty.

Maybe a bit overly sweet actually. The fruit part tastes too mush fake and overall this doesn’t turn out as my favourite lambic. Would not recommend it.

Bottle @ home. As soon as I open it I can smell the stuff is smelled almost every week when I was sixteen. That’s right: I was a regular drinker of this stuff. Let’s see how it held up. Deep red to purple colour with a big, fizzy, not lasting head. Smells sweet, fruity, syruppy, cranberry, strawberry, other red fruits, cassis. It’s a fake, fruity smell, but I like it. Maybe it’s the melancholy. Tastes a bit sour, red fruits, cassis, gazeuze, yoghurt. One of my favorite beers in the cheap and commercial fruit beers. I used to prefer the Floris Fraise, but I think I like this one better now. Is it an amazing craft beer? No. Will I finish the glass? Yes. Medium body, fizzy carbo. It actually feels kinda thick. Must be the syrup.
