Looks like a glass of cherry juice. Tastes that way too. There are none of the desired sour components making this just far to sweet and one-sided. Really a poor example of the style.

Boy - let say the nicest about it first: it has a nice red color...other than that my brain doesn’t want to administer more nice words about it. Thin, artificial cherry nose and taste, terribly sweet - that is all that comes to mind.

Dark red with a pinkish, frothy head. Quite a pleasant artificial cherry aroma, though one-dimensional. An odd soapy backtaste. Otherwise it was too sweet, with insufficient sourness and bitterness to satisfy.

Bottled. Dark brownish red, small head. Aroma is cherry along with almond. Flavour is artificial sweet cherry with some nutty hints. Watery palate. Long cherry aftertaste.

first of all, this is not a kriek! This is a mix beer with cherry juice! very bubblegummy and artificial, tastes ok, dreadful palate. Nothing to say

Bart (2941) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 16, 2005
Dark pink colour, pinky head. Heavy sweet cherry aroma. in the beginning a smouth and soft cherry taste, then a heavy cherry flavor to end with a long bitter sweet finish, little bit sticky as well. Low alcohol, little bit to sweet limonade-like.

Big dark parfait pink head on a cloudy dark strawberry liquid. Aroma all cherry reminiscent of cherry pie filling. Flavour is very sweet and cherry although there is a sour tint to the finish. If a soda company made cherry-pie this would be it. I think they hit the mark that they were aiming for but this is not a beer for frequent repetition.

Sweet cherry smell, not much else in the aroma. Almost no head. Bubbly. Slightly cloudy. Reddish brown colour. Tastes more like a cherry cola, or a cooler, than a beer. Sweet and syrupy. Tastes ok but give it to the kids, I'll take a beer.

This brewery has nearly 80 dierent beers listed here. A bit of a shotgun approach in trying to brew somthing for everyone or an attitude that is a bit like a small child’s attention span. Also the integrity of the process needs to be challenged as this one merely tastes like a poorly brewed beer with the addtion of some cheery cordial. Generally poorwith a cloying aftertaste that does not offer any real enjoyment. Faux lambics are all a bit of a bore.

On draught at Delirium Café, Göteborg. Cherry red colour, with a light pink-ish head. Dewy cherry nose, very fresh feel to it. Good mouthfeel. Fresh cherry flavour, still with artificial hints. Beer?

bridge (659) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 26, 2005
Predictable ruby red liquid, with a small head that disappeared faster than you could say "quick, turn on the cricket". Also predictable maraschino cherry aroma, with a slightly milky tilt. The flavour is sour, thanks to the cherries, with also some cloying sweetness. The palate is pretty light, and the aftertaste does not last very long at all. Drunk as a digestif after a hearty meal, it seemed to fit it’s place well.
