Draught @ Delirium Café. Average red creamy head that mostly lasted. Muddy red colour. Aroma was synthetic cherry with hint of other fresh fruit. Light bodied with a soft carbonation and thin texture. Light sweet flavour with hint of acidic. Sweet cherry finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottle @ Delerium cafe, Brussels, Belgium): Pours a cherry red color, smallish whitish red-pink head. Tart cherry aroma. Syrupy cherry taste, sweet. Very tart cherry taste. Almost like a cough drop. Good sweet desert drink.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a ridiculous shade of red. Candy red with a whiff of maraschino cherries. Very sweet and pretty tart, but there is no beer in here. This tastes like cherry pop (good cherry pop, mind you, but still cherry pop). Definitely not the traditional bitter beer with sour cherries I was expecting.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle, Dovetail, Clerkenwell, London. Continuing my mini one-man pubcrawl, I decided to go for some new Belgians. Very glace cherry, sweet aroma about this one. Amazing red deep colour, thin pink head. Nose and mouth remind me of sweets (cherry drops). Flavour is sweet cherry, but easy drinking, wheaty. Palate is slightly sour, sweet. Little bit too gassy. Quite nice, if not a little bit straightforward.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
330 mL bottle from Lubiere. App.: INTENSE red colour with a pinkish, foamy head. Aroma: lots of cherry, almost medicinal, like a cherry Halls. A little bit of malty beer tries to come through.... Palate: fairly low carbonation, med. body. Flav.: wow, does that cherry cough medicine come through! A decent balance of sweet and tart, but not the style for me. Too much like a cooler!

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 6/20
Overpowering sweet cherries in the nose. Opaque red body is topped by a decent pink head that recedes to a lasting cover and sticks to the sides of the glass. Very sweet flavour is like a cherry syrup. Light tartness way at the end of the aftertaste. Medium body with silky smooth texture and soft bubbled effervescence that is very enjoyable. It’s too bad these are so overpoweringly sweet as they are obviously otherwise well-made. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle (BB Dec-07, Bièropholie, Aug-06).
