Eructoblaster (3890) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 17, 2010
Bottle - 330ml. Pours a hazy ruby body with low carbonation and a fair pink creamy/foamy head. Strong cherry aroma with spicy hints. Taste is well balanced and ends with a good fruity/sour finish. Good introduction to fruit beers.

Blood red pour. Nose is sweet. In the mouth it’s cough syrup with a miniscule wheat profile. One for the lady that drinks cocktails and doesn’t like beer. Not bad, just sweet like a soda.

0.25l, draught, as Floris Kriek, at Pater Marcus, Budapest.
Poured a murky darker red body with a hyperpink thick head. Quite gay. Cherries dominate the nose with some dust clinging to them. The taste is sweet, cherries of course again. Sweet-sour aftertaste. 1-dimensional fruit juice with alcohol, enjoyable but hardly a great beer.

0,33 L-es üveges kiszerelés. Kiöntéskor lassan bugyog el a babarózsaszín hab, mely alatt a test opálos, érett meggy színű. Illatát is a meggy aroma uralja. Savanykásabb és kicsit művibb, mint a Lindemans hasonló terméke. A háttérban egy kis malátás íz is érezhető, de ez ebben az esetben nem előny. Utóíze nem tetszik.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A hazy, red beer with a glow. White head. The artificial aroma has almonds and some cherries. The flavor is pretty much the same, artificial, with almonds and cherries, and a hint of vanilla. Finishes in the same way. Too sticky on the palate, medium body fullness. Definately not my kind of beer. 091024

Bottle. Poured a deep red with a thick pink head. Aroma had notes of both sour and sweet cherries. Flavor was more like a cherry soda pop than a beer, highly carbonated and overly sweet.

Cloudy red with tiny pink head. Sweet aroma with cherries and almonds. Flavour was cloying sweet with artificial cherries and almonds. Finished cloying sweet.

Hazy red with medium short lasting pink head. Very sweet aroma with cherries and marzipan notes. Flavor goes the same way. Needs some lambic for base.

Bottle, 3.6%. Hazy deep red colour. Small pink head. Fat cherry aroma and flavour. Very sweet, with a little citric note trying in vain to balance off the sugar.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a deep red with a pink head. Cloying cherry and marzipan aroma. Thin body, very sweet chery accents with a discreet tartness in the background. Clearly just another name for Florisgaarden Griotte. 241009

(Bottle 33 cl) By appearance this looks pretty much like a Kriek Lambic - deep red, small head - but the base beer is Witbier. Rather soft and mild with a smooth mouthfeel. Strong cherry flavour but not cloying. Quite refreshing. 220999
