3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Odd looking cloudy red going brown (more red) with a small pink head that goes to a ring but leaves 360 degrees of excellent lacing. The aroma is very strong with the sweet cherry (sort of has a slight medicinal quality to it to go along with my very first impression - which was of cherry Halls lozengers) which is defenetly not a real cherry flavour. There is a dryness and a honey flavour that is reminding me of some meads that Iíd had to go along with the scent of almonds. Irregardless Iím sure enjoying the smell. The taste is not as large as the aroma but is still very appealling even if quite sweet. The cherry seems a bit more írealí now and stays tart and sour with obvious almond qualities. Very tasty. There is another flavour here but Iím baffled at what it might be...next time hopefully. Light medium bodied, a bit spritzy but still smooth...very mouth smacking..finishes with a lengthy soft cherry aftertaste. Better than the more locally known Belle-Vue Kriek.
had to add this.... so, I just finished the Kriek and then I chased it with half a bottle of Sleemans Honey Brown....made it taste like bitter stale dope..so dead on...this might be the worst match up of beers in history.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Man this stuff looks pretty very deep dark red body, and the cap, scratch that for this beer Iíll call it a tiara itís so girly looking, the tiara is very bright pink in color. You can smell the cherry scent of this beer from ten feet away; it reminds me of cherry suckers that you got for Halloween. Wow this stuff is cherry pop with a hint of malt flavor, very refreshing taste. The mouth feel is dry and thin with good carbonation. I canít decide if the beer is more sweet or sour I think Iím leaning towards sour. The taste is exactly like cherry Chiclets. Good refreshing beer and in my opinion way better then Belle-Vue Kriek

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20
Cherry juice with bit of beer in it. Had it under the name Floris Kriek at a beer shop/bar in Brussels. A run-of-the-mill kriak with no hints of what is supposed to be a ground of lambic - ot is it?

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled(330ml). -as Floris Kriek. Bloody coloured, medium sized pinkish head, sour cherries nose with touch of glue. Sweet&sour cherry taste with notes of caramel and yeast. Better than Fraise but still, in general, nothing special here. 3.6%

What a wonderful psychology experiment this beer represents. You take a raspberry beer; put three plump, juicy cherries on the label (mine was marketed as Floris Kriek); and watch with equal parts amazement and amusement as the reviews reporting a cherry taste pour in. To be fair, the mixture of these sour, little, red impostors in this syrupy brew does give the impression of black cherries with a hint of balsamic vinegar, but no matter whatís in the damn bottle, I can imagine only a few circumstances under which I would prefer it to a nice Belgian blond. Maybe with a good salad on a hot summer day on a patio with a sweet, young brunette art history major in a nice sundress.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Floris Kriek, bottled. I am in a perpexlity about that kind of beer...Not bad, but i can feel the artifical aroma and taste of the kriek-sirup...So the beer has a hazy red body and a small pink lacing head. Some beer, more cherry in the nose and in the flavor. Medium bodied, easy drinkable fruitbeer, but not my favourite beer style...

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
0.33L bottle of "floris kriek". A little hazy light red with some pink streaks, head almost non existent, aroma of of ripe cherries with some almond notes.
taste of sour cherries with light sweetness and good acidity but no bitterness what so ever, that makes you ponder for a second whether this a beer or a soft drink. Long expressive sour afetrtaste.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle (330ml) 3.6%. Poured hazy dark violet with an average sized rocky, pink head which was mostly lasting. Aroma was of dr.pepper with pomegranate juice, marzipan and glazed cherries. Flavor was dominated by wild berry yogurt with tart cherries, a decent acidity, mild medicinal/dr.pepper notes and a sweet artificial finish. Light bodied with lively carbonation a sweet/tart mouthfeel and an average finish.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Dranken Geers. Red, thin pink head. A kind of Bakewell tart almond cherry jam. Far too sweet in mouth. Bit of sting and sourness on finish. Overall a cherry/almond sickly fruit syrupy drink, no off flavours, just nastily sweet and fruit syrup insteead of real cherries.
