1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 duff (5484) - Lund, SWEDEN - SEP 1, 2003
Pretty screwed up. Definitley not as bad as the chocolate. Tastes like a soft drink, rather than anything beery or complex. Honeyed sweetness, and lightly sticky, interesting, though, even though it really did suck in the end. Main flavours were honey, coriander and some ginger. Thin palate.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 SilkTork (4919) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - AUG 17, 2003
Bottle. Aroma of soft honey and freshly laundered woolen socks. Nettles and rhubarb initially in flavour, then the warm honey comes through. This is a witbier in the gaardenbeer series, as such it's actually quite boring, lacking the sweet and sour rush of the others.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jbrus (4992) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - MAY 19, 2003
Honey and lemon aroma. Hazy, yellow, white head, few lace. Very sweet start, honey, thick but soon thinner and less sweet but still honey. Sparkling and honey finish. Long lasting with honey on your lips.
1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 leaparsons (7129) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2003
Strong honey aroma. Really sweet. The colour of honey disolved in hot water. As for flavour - far too sweet for me, too medicinal and sickly. Actually, its nasty.
1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 bierkoning (9033) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - MAR 13, 2003
Strong honeyaroma. Very, very sweet, honey and sugary, but I doubt if any bee has been used. Very artificial. Rather sharp in its sourness and nothing to compensate. Slightly nutty, like cheap Turkish baklava.
0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 caesar (4029) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - FEB 3, 2003
The reputation of Florisgaarden isn't very good, and i can understand why. This Honey version was a definite drain pour for me! Extremely honey flavor. Too much to cope. Ugh. Bitter finish.
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 19/20 austinpowers (2827) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 29, 2003
Reeks strongly of honey and floral notes. Tastes the same as it smells. Truly a beer I could drink all night. Very sweet!

My first Florisgaarden experience. Very dominent honey aroma and flavor. Never again.
2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 pivo (2540) - GERMANY - JUL 22, 2002
Very strong nose that is super complex - smells of honey with spices, pine cones and sap. Very perfume-like. Reminds me of walking into a gift store that sells soaps and incense and the like. Light hazy green-yellow color and no head. Taste is also honey, spicy and maple syrup-like. Thin body but a varied profile. Gets points for originality. One of the most unusual beers I’ve had - its an acquired taste...
3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 YogiBeera (2435) - Hamburg, GERMANY - JUL 21, 2002
Complex aroma - honey, sweet, flowers, sap, pine, inscence. Light green yellow color. Taste honey, soap and maple syrup. Syrupy and fizzy. Somehow artifical, but very interesting. It is too sweet for my taste.
