A hazy orange beer with a beutiful white head. The aroma is of peach, pineapple, and berries - what is ninkeberries? The flavor is sweet - like a ninkeberry-sodapop. The body is thin and this combined with the high sweetness makes me feel, this is more a soda, than a beer.

(Bottle 33 cl) Orangey, unclear golden with a huge head. Very fruity - with flavours pointing in all sorts of directions (and no, I reckon there’s no such thing as "Ninkeberry" - it’s a blend). Very refreshing and quenching on a hot day - I think. Sweet but balanced decently from the acidic citrusy Witbier, which is the base of this. 201197

33 cL bottle. Pours slight cloudy yellow with a dense and chalk white head. Aroma is mild citric peachy and of passion fruit. Light sweet berry fruity flavour. Mild acidic to citric touch. Shows a mild artifical note towards the finish. Light fruity finish with a lingering exotic fruit flavour.

Bottled@home (BBE 05/2008). Colour is slightly hazy golden and the beer has a small off-white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, some sugary sweetness as well as mild notes of zest. Flavour is tropical fruits with a rather big sweetness that stays on for a while. Refreshing, though quite artificial.

Bottled. Pale yellow and lightly hazy. Huge mango and passion aroma. Very sweet and candyish. Like drinking liquid extra sweet winegums. Not exactly unpleasant, but not a beer experience I want to return to too often.

fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - APR 15, 2005
Hazy golden color. Artificial aroma, fruit candies; the passion fruit is more evident than the others, some peach. Artificial fruity taste, very sweet, with a wrong hopping. The final is disturbing. Children’s drink.

Ninke refers to ’children’s’, meaning this is intended as a kid’s brew. No shit. Golden, fruity aroma - for some reason I got blueberry and raspberry, but the bottles says mango, apricot, peach, strawberry, passion fruit. Shows what I know. Sweet & sour palate - in a bad way, not unlike the generic sweet & sour sauce that you get from Chinese restaurants in suburban strip malls everywhere. Very candyish finish.

(Bottle) Pours a cloudy yellow body with a large lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet (passion fruit, grapefruit) and spicy yeast. Flavor of passion fruit, mango, melon, and sugar.
