Hazy yellow color, small white head. Strong nose of green apples. There is also funky yeasty aroma. Cloying sweet flavor of green apples. Sticky mouthfeel. Some tartness in the finish, but should be much more tart to be enjoyable. Now sugary and slightly artifical.

Aug 16, 2008 Una via di mezzo fra un pessimo sidro e una pessima birra, un drink allegro e antipatico che però si lascia apprezzare per il non spiacevole profumo e per un asprigno che stempera lo zuccheroso insistente del primo sorso. La natura stessa del prodotto lo rende discutibile, il risultato però è sopra le (pessime) aspettative e quindi merita un, seppur risentito, riconoscimento.

Jul 14, 2008 Hazy straw yellow with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma of apple, grassy hops, cinnamon and yeast. Taste like fresh apple pie filling with cinnamon. Somewhat of a fruit juice feel to it as it’s a little on the sweet side. Finishes apple and slightly dry. Exceeded my expectations, would have this one again.

Jul 13, 2008 Tyler’s Apex Huyghe brunch. The color was a hazy golden. The head was thin, fizzy, and white. The aroma was sweet, strong apple, and belgian. The flavor was the same. The palate was slick with a sweet apple finish.

Jul 12, 2008 33cl bottle from Total Wine (Tampa, FL), Pours a hazy golden with a two finger frothy white head that settles quickly but still laces the glass. Aroma is decidedly granny smith apples, jolly rancher, just a hint of candy sugar. Flavor is exceedingly sweet almost like apple cider. The strong sweet apple tones overpower any other flavors. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel with a sweet, crisp finish. If you want a beer that tastes like sweet apple pie with apple cider on top, this is it.
