0.33 l bottle shared with Marko. It poured hazy golden body with medium sized head. Apple aroma, some banana yeast, also barley notes which were especially pronounced later on in the flavor as some sharpness to generally soft fruity and chalky tasted sweet brew. Medium in body with longer, sweet and sticky flavor. Wasn’t too artificial for my palate, just a little bit and I enjoyed it no more or less than other Belgian fruit beers.

0.33l from Kuća Piva. Pours a hazy yellow-golden body with almost no head. Apple & malt nose, strange vague notes of chocolate. That continues into the taste, actually, the chocolate-like notes end up merging with the apple notes into something distinctly fake and sweet. Creamy though. Dunno, there’s something fake and repugnant about it. Meh.

Bottle. Cloudy gold. Thin white head. Sweet apple candies. Sweet. Dry finish. Tangy.

2012.08.26 - bottle 33cl - Yellow and hazy. Too sweet sugary beer with - roffel roffel - the flavour of apple. That sweet that you expect a swarm of bees. Sting like a bee ! Probably good for a woman’s skin (ask me not why)

25cl bottle @ Ruben, Budapest. Hazy orange, thin head. Aroma has apple and candy sweetness. Flavor has fresh apple juice, sweetener, low bitterness. Nothing that says this is beer, but quite refreshing still.

11.2 ounce bottle from Charles’s Street. Aroma is a pleasant apple cinnamon; does not smell like beer, flavor is also apple cider, not beer.

This is not a beer but apple juice mixed with funky wheat beer leftovers. Gives artisanal Belgian fruit beers a bad name - at least in Germany concoctions like these have to be labeled "Biermischgetränk" so a real beer lover knows what he is in for (or should steer clear of). Not as vile as Floris Chocolate, as this one actually tastes like apple juice, but not to be confused with any for of cultured hop juice.

bottle that was sitting in the fridge nearly a year finally consumed 6/20/12. sorta hefe colored yellow orange with a soft ow head. the nose is odd... salty/umami, wood, juice from bruised red delicious and tart apples, some mustiness, dust, caramel and cinnamon-y spiciness. the flavor is the same...the palate is full on sweet up front but somehow manages to dry out completely by the end. there is a nice savory thing going on the whole time. the aftertaste lingers like tart apple pie filling (not the canned stuff but the real deal). it is rather full bodied and sweet at first but the spiciness cleans it up making it quite refreshing by the end of the sip. it has a super creamy texture and lux mouth feel when sloshed around. i wasn’t expecting much and ended up impressed. 8/4/8/4/16

Gedronken bij dutchdrebus, ruikt naar appel, fris. Is bijna appelsap, heel zoet, beetje zuur.
