2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Deeper golden with a small white head. Smells of almost sickeningly sweet apples. Thatís the only aroma... and itís too much. Flavor isnít nearly as bad as Iíd imagined... itís very sweet, very appley, but itís smooth and not overbearing. Now, I canít say Iíd revisit this beer in the near future, but itís something Iíd suggest to someone who wants something sweet.

a mes rate:
on tap. upon smelling this i was hoping for something quite tasty. i had fruli apple on tap from the same place and it was rather lovely. the nose is all apple juice with a chemical undertone but very pleasant. the moment i tasted it it was all over. apples yes but they are totally killed by syrup and chemicals. its pretty awful to be honest

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sparkling pale yellow with small white head. Smells exactly like apple juice. Light and refreshing. Highly carbonated. I was told it was a mix between beer and cider. Tasted very much like cider. Very sweet and quite tasty. A nice change of pace after I had a heavier dark beer. Felt like I could drink it with breakfast. Though I wouldnít want to drink many of them, or too often. Perhaps the novelty was the main appeal.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Plenty of apple flavor though it did not seem artificial. Tasted more like cider than beer. Tasty departure from regular beer

i had unibroueís ephemere the other night and thought itíd be fun to taste this one while the apple-beer experience was fresh on my mind. i was wrong--it really wasnít fun at all. it looks like a wit with itís moth-soft powdery pale yellow under a froth of pearly foam, and itís long icycles of lace. perfumy apple sap aroma, green apple jelly, possibly a note of dough-- but the apple is screaming so loud i wished for the olfactory equivalent of earplugs. a creamy yeasty feel, but so dismayingly sweet i believe that a honey badger would find it cloying. pure apple syrup with a shake of pie spices. would probably be fatal to a hyper-active nine year old. what were they thinking? as an imperial IPA is a hop bomb, this is imperial sugar bomb and a royal disaster.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUN 21, 2005 On tap at the Yard House in San Diego. Pale yellow and cloudy. White head with great lacing. Flowery apple cider sweet aroma. Chalky, extreme sweetness and tart. Bubble gum and medicine. Suggested flavor of Lemon Alka Seltzer cold medicine. Very tart finish. UPDATE: Now on tap at the Dundee Dell in Omaha. Apple aroma is so aromatic that a couple of pints of this stuff nearly masked the acrolein of all the cigarette smoke (I said nearly). I liked my second pint of this EVEN MORE!

Urgh. Is that flavour apple? Whatever it is it overwhelms any actual beer present. Bubblegum and synthetic bio-mulch flavour, and this at the ZBF 2005. Who let them bring this one along?

Hazy blond color. Light aroma of green apple. Sweet, a bit fruity, artificial, with an unpleasant vanilla touch.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2007 This was labeled as Floris Apple WIt at Piperís Pub in Pittsburgh where I had this one on draft. It poured a cloudy pale yellow color with a small white head. There was a strong apple juice aroma. The flavor was sweet strong apple with a hint of banana and spice underlying. The finish was surprisingly dry given how sweet the front was. Pretty darn tasty.
