Bottle, bought @ AD Delhaize, Brussels.
Clear golden with a big, staying, frothy, white head. Aroma is vinious, apples, light metal, some caramel, light spicy fruitiness. Medium carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is mild. Some malty sweetness, fruity esters, light vinious. Some apple, pine and quite flowery. A fine, yet fairly simple tripel.

300ml bottle bought in Brussels. Raisins taste, sweet palate with small hoppy nute. White foam, stays for 1 minute. Dark-golden colour. I don’t think this beer is a real tripel.

Light color and white top. Good balanced between sweetness and bitterness.

The head is white the body yellow-grey. The taste is fruity, herb, alcoholic. It is drinkable, not my favourite, once is ok, but it´s ok for that price..

Countbeer (2852) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAY 4, 2012
Bottle: Medium to bigger vast white head, disappears slow, on top of a hazy yellow light orange colored beer. Smell is fruity with some yeast, malt and alcohol notes. The taste is more sweet than bitter, though not a dominating sweetness, the bitterness grows slowly. Sweetness comes from fruity notes and sugars. There are some hops, bitter hop tones, yeast, corn, light malty, barley malt, some spices and herbs and some warmth of the alcohol. Aftertaste is sweet bitter with alcohol, herbs and malty hops. Medium carbo, soft tingly mouthfeel, a good medium body and a light creamy texture. Ok beer, but nothing special.

BlackHaddock (2350) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2012
Oct 2010: Third beer in one of my ’random beer’ reviewing evenings. The 33cl brown bottle was a month out of date for this tasting. Poured into a stemmed ’Hoegaarden Grand Cru’ tulip it rushed out taking all the sediment with it. The body was therefore a matt old gold colour instead of a bright yellow, the head however was a lovely pure white foaming mountain. Belgian yeasts in the nose, with some alcohol esters as well. Typical tripel flavours, with alcohol up front more than most. Not too bad at all, a long way from the best tripel out there, but worth trying.

330 ml bottle. From Belgium. Courtesy of Brandman.
Clear pale golden colour with small frothy white head. Mild caramel, fruity soapy hops and some sweetness in aroma. Flavour is no good. Rust and impregnated wood in flavour. Fizzy.

Pours a bright golden yellow color. Aromas of malts, yeast, and a little fruit. Has a light fruit taste, with some yeasty notes, a touch of orange, and a good hop flavor.

Alcohol dominates all other flavours. Somewhat of a spicy twang to it and a faint but highly unpleasant sourness.
