For me it seems this recipe was hrown together quickly. It is an end of days type beer.

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Flossmoor, IL). Pours a dulled golden straw yellow hue, a good haziness in the body with a creamy offwhite head atop that dies to a film, laces small. Aromas are gentle bready malts, grainy, flaked wheat. Kiss of fruit, dry grass and earth. Some gentle yeastiness to it. Mellow citrusy and floral hops, a kiss of paper and dough. Initial is similar, a bit mild. Bready malts, flaked wheat, and grainy. Touches of mellow earthy hops, gentle dryness. A bit of spice as some mellow fruit, apple and pear, hit into the middle. A touch dry and grassy into the backend, straw, mellow hopping. Touches of lemon and grapefruit are gentle. Dry and mellow finish, a bit bready, a bit yeasty. An ok beer, a bit forgettable as I kinda lose the Saison influence, becomes a bit muddled overall.
