Very aggressively hopped for the style...and I like that a lot! Mainly citrus hops aroma and flavor, balancing the basic malt sweetness... Orange and grapefruit in the finish. I’d like to see this one on the menu instead of one or two of the regulars (ie.:Zephyr and Chessie)

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2005 A good APA, golden in color with a frizzy head and a well-hopped aroma. The taste has some good grapefruit bitterness well balanced with the malts. Has a decent, lingering citric finish.

Nothing special here. It tastes like what it sounds like... an American style Pale. Was hopeing for something a little more interesting but it was a decent beer to drink.

Draft. Light amber with a thin head. Malt is in the background here, of course, with a well-focused American hop profile. Hops make it spicy and just a bit citrusy. I thought this was a little over hopped, but luckily they had the X-IPA up too, so I compared them and found that yes, the IPA is much hoppier.
