COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Born out of the depths of hell, Beelzebeer occasionally rears its ugly head in breweries across the land. Whenever Batch #666 occurs, so does a devilishly evil brew - it’s embodiment can take on many forms...you hold one of these now. Lucifer was well served by his lieutenant, serving throughout the centuries, willing unassuming souls towards the darkness, towards the inky blackness of this very bottle."

22oz capped, thanks Alex. Prune black with just a little bit of head. Soy sauce, cola, tobacco and some toothpaste. Kind of on the thin watery side with almost dead carb feel. Meaty soy sauce and cola is all that stands out to me. I would say the 11% is pretty hidden.

22oz bottle that I’ve had for awhile. Pours a black colored body with a slight ruby hue. Finger-width, creamy, brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is sweeter with lots of plum dark fruits, chewy toffee cookies, caramel, a light chocolate, and hard roasts that come in behind the sweet malts. Flavor is plum dark fruits, dark caramels, chewy toffee cookies, and hard roasts up front that balance well with the malt sweetness. Some earth comes in during the middle with a light chocolate, coffee cake, and a touch of vanilla. Finishes smooth and dry with a roasty, earthy, light bitterness balanced nicely with a toffee, caramel cookie, and dark fruit maltiness. Lengthy aftertaste with a light alcohol warmth following a smooth, medium, slightly chewy body and a soft, medium-light carbonation. Overall, an enjoyable strong ale. I’ve been sitting on this one for a couple years, so it would be interesting to see how this tasted fresh, but its drinking pretty nicely right now. Sweet malts with a good amount of plum dark fruits and a firm hard roast to balance. Nice beer.

If I were to drink this without knowing a think about it I would swear it was an Imperial Stout, and a pretty good one. THis is a really nice malty sweet beer that I will get again and again

Tasted on 7/6/11 from a 22oz bomber bottle from Armanetti. Pours an opaque, muddy black, almost brown with average tan head that slowly recedes to a thin collar of lace. The nose is very roasted with tons of dark chocolate, molasses, coffee, and some burnt bitterness. The flavor is the same with tons of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, molasses, and a bit of bitterness. The body is full with a creamy mouth feel, light carbonation and a long coffee, dark chocolate, and bitter finish.
