Draft@ brewery: Cloudy yellow with a short, off-white head. Aroma is slightly peppered/spicy... A strange scent and flavor of parmesan cheese and barley malt. Interesting...but odd little beer....still......pretty tasty.

Draft. Tangerine and pepper aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Orange and cheesy malt flavor. Very good for a low alcohol beer.

Sampler pour on tap at the brewpub (Flossmoor, IL). Pours a richly hazed golden amber pour, darker hazy body, mellow dulled glow a bit more yellow orange on the bottom and edges. A frothy beige khaki head atop dies to a good filmy layer, laces well. Aromas are gentle spice, bready and straw grains, grass, gentle fruit wafts in as it warms. A bit more dry, earthy hopping, mellow yeasty spice. Initial is lighter in body, a bit dry and grainy as it hits the palate. Bready, straw, gentle dough. Kiss of lemon, florals, touch of grass. Mellow herbal dryness hits the palate a bit. Clean, a gentle spice and yeasty dryness combine with the more dry, mellow malt body. Touches of lemon and earth, almost woody tea and earth in there, a touch of graphite, sharp dry earthy element at times up front. Perhaps ashy? Woody really seems the better descriptor. Not bad for a small beer. Woody, it comes into it’s own. There was an odd feel at the beginning but it really tapers out as we move on and it warms/settles. Solid small beer.

Kind of a weak palate but for what it is this is a solid beer. Light malts, light hops, easily drinkable.
