3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 DrnkMcDermott (2444) - Downers Grove, USA - AUG 4, 2009
Sampler. Maybe the small sampler glass doesn’t allow for the excess blueberry the others here write about. I see an amber color with some haze, and a thin head. The smell of blueberries is there, but light, not syrupy. More subtlety to the berry taste than in other such beers (I’m looking at YOU, Jake Leinenkugel). Dry quality suggests the berries went into the fermenter. Then balanced by the usual brewpub-level of hoppiness. A nice character for any fruit beer.

This is like drinking a liquid blueberry. Fruit notes are heavy for both nose and palate, making for an extreme fruit experience.

draft... dark purple, a bit of a dirty color, light pink head, great lace, light cap... light aroma, a bit of blueberry... tastes nice at first, nice sweet juice, blueberries, gets a little skunky at first, but this is one of the best fruit wheat beers I’ve had
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 sbanach (203) - USA - OCT 27, 2011
This one was great! Aroma is blueberry fruit, sweet, malty, appearance is dark blue color, cloudy, nice head and lace. malty, light blueberry taste, wheat, noticeable hops. Full mouth feel, lingering bite. Overall, skip dessert and have this instead!
3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 14/20 Thorpe429 (3824) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - NOV 27, 2010
On tap at the Brewpub in August 2009. Pours a medium golden color with a good amount of head. The smell is crisp with some blueberry presence, although I’m not sure how well it fits in. The taste has blueberries present as well, but I just don’t get them melding well with the wheat, and there is a bit of an artificial-ness to the fruit flavor. The mouthfeel is light to medium with moderate carbonation, lending to the drinkability, but a little too much fruit flavor for this one to be truly sessionable.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 thedm (4126) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 23, 2010
This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent light orange colored body. The mild aroma was blueberry. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of mild hops dough and blueberry. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Flossmoor, Illinois. Cloudy, almost purplish brown pour, with a lacy white head, a light, fruity nose, a potent fruity flavor dominated by berries and sweet bread malts, and a nice fruity finish. Fruity!

Red-orange, sheeting whitish foam. Aroma is light blueberry, not much, full wheat body. Taste is light berry sweetness, not overpowering or medicinal.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy gold with violet tints and a white head that leaves some lacing. Blueberry and wheat dominate the nose and flavor, with some notes of sweet malts, hops, and a little skunk. Light bodied, sweet, smooth, and easy to drink. Blueberries hit hard early, with maltiness later, but there’s an odd, unexpected bitterness to the finish. Good choice for a girlfriend to drink while you try a few others.
