3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 madvike (2128) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 20, 2012
Bottle shared by TPatuto...thanks Tom! - Pours murky brown with a thin light tan head. You can smell the cardamom on the nose, with sugar and dark bread. Taste is better than I would have guessed given the nose, with honey, cardamom, dark bread, yeast, and a citric finish. Nice carbonation fluffs up the body a bit. Not my thing, but less of a sugar bomb than I was expecting.

Bottle shared at DLD. Overall, it was fine. Honestly just a little understated or muted. Not sure if the age had anything to do with it but it just seemed a little disjointed. Not bad, just not great.
