We brewed Delasser, a low gravity Belgian Pale Ale to grow our new Belgian Schelde yeast culture. We will be using the yeast from Delasser to brew higher alcohol Belgian beers. The first of which will be a Belgian Dubbel, my assistant Bill’s first commercial release!

Delasser is refreshing to drink and will quench your thirst as the warmth of spring arrives. It’s the perfect companion for relaxing outside on a sunny day. The spice and fruit flavors characteristic of the Belgian Yeast Strain bring complexity to this beer while the low gravity and gentle malt sweetness make it easy to drink

Draft at Jerry’s. Light amber with big, foamy, beige head, fine lacing / Mild nose of toasted grain, caramel / Light to medium body, steely, hint of sweetness but otherwise dry with light astringency, good bitter finish / Mild flavors of roast grain, circus peanut, grapefruit, dark caramel / A nice, session able, dry Belgian pale.
