Slightly hazy golden body a thin white head. Bready aroma with a hint of spice. Very smooth and refreshing. Malty sweet up front with bread and caramel. Finishes with a nice peppery bite. Quite enjoyable.

On tap at the brewpub in August 2009. Pours a pale golden color with plenty of visible carbonation and white head. The smell is that of malted barley and a little bit of Dormunder-esque sweetness. The taste is much of the same, but the balance between the mild sweetness of the style and the lager malt is a little bit off. The carbonation is nice but the body is a little bit thin. Still, a fairly-drinkable brew. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 09-20-2009

Thanks to fishingnet for sharing this one. A: Pours a cloudy pale yellow what a small white head. No retention or lace noted. S: Simple aroma of corn, bready malt, and light herbal hops. T: Similar flavor sweet malts, light yeasty bread, summer fruit, and a touch of green grass. M: Medium in body, smooth, easy drinking. D: Not too bad. Pretty good example of a style I don’t really dig.

Courtesy of fishingnet. Pours hazy deep gold with thin white head. The aroma is sweet slick graininess and corn. Wow! The taste has some mild tart notes mixing with corn, graininess as well as faint sourness.

Did not enjoy this. My notes are not too specific, but my palate was definitely fresh. Average as a lager. Some grainy, grassy, hoppy notes. But came through rather sweet, and vegetable-y. May be the yeast. Not sure. Would give it another shot, but the night I had it. Just. No. Cannot defend this serving.

On tap, and served to plastic at the Oktoberfest party. Poured an orangy amber with a modest, off white, bubbly foam head and plastic restricted but fair lacing. The nose was light Pils malt and noble aromas, with soft grain and a hint of sweetness. The flavor continued these notes with a low but noticeable hop bitterness and good carbonation A clean, sessionable brew that went very well with the tasty fest food that was offered.
