draft... murky dark honey gold, off white leaves a long lasting thin cap... typical hefe nose with some sweet banana, solid for what it is... much more depth to the taste than the nose indicates, very sweet on the front with some brown sugar and banana but the yeast shows off a nice complimentary spice note combined with a nice mouthfeel create a nice beer

Beautiful on sampler at oak park. Spot on banana aroma. Cloudy yellow. Very banana flavor.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy lemon yellow with a large frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of clove, spice and citrus. The taste is clove, citrus, wheat, apples and a bitter finish. Medium bodied.

On tap; pour is murky gold with a fine bubbled, frothy head into this glass. Light, spotty lacing is present here. The nose is heavy on the bready/biscuit notes; light spicy/fruity elements are here. This doesn’t quite work as a traditional hefeweizen, yet lacks a nice dry hopping / american drinkability as well. I wasn’t too impressed.
