On tap in the brewpub for the Oktoberfest celebration. Poured to a pub-pint glass a hazy, golden amber with a light hint of orange to the off white, rocky head, leaving some heavy, web-like ribbons of lacing. The aroma was bright citrus as orange and grapefruit, with a hint of resin. The flavor added to these, a nice balance of smooth malt and moderate hop bitterness. A light, creamy mouthfeel and subtly dry finish, although imo, not as full in body to best support the other excellent notes.

Had a couple of glasses on tap at brewpub. Pours golden orange with white head. Aroma is loaded with fresh hops, heavy citrus and tropical fruits and a touch of pine. Flavor is fresh hops, citrus, tropical fruits, a smidge of pine and light malts. Finishes bitter but is very fresh tasting. Medium mouthfeel and appropriate carbonation. Pretty good wet hopped IPA. Glad I was able to try it fresh.

from the growler filled a few hours ago. pours hazed golden with white head. an extremely dank fresh hop aroma that is loaded with pineapple fruit, lime, tangerines, and pine. not really earthy and green like other wet hop brews but just a really fresh hop aroma. flavor is initially sweet and bitter but that bitter fades out pretty quick while fruit juicy, lemon, and pine hop notes sit on the tongue. seems like the whole thing is under hopped in the bitterness and flavor department while the body is thin. seems over attenuated to me.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2009 Tap at Flossmoor at the collab evil release... Pours a hazy orange with brown mixed in. Thin soapy white head on top... Flavors of dank pretty fresh green hops, pretty mellow and earthy. Mild malt backbone with a semi-bitter finish.... Aroma of musty dank green and citrusy hops that make themselves known but doesnít jump out. Pretty tasty overall

I thoroughly tasted this to the tune of at least three glasses at a mug club tapping at the brewpub. It poured a hazy light amber with a tall frothy head and laced the glass(es) heavily. What got me about this ale was the total frshness of aroma and flavor. There was plenty of juicy citrus hops in the smell, both pink and yellow grapefruit, lemon zest, tart oranges, and a touch of pine. There was a sturdy enough caramelly malt backbone to sustain the onslaught of hop flavors. The bitterness wasnít intense, but did develop somewhat as the night wore on. A dangerous brew, since the sturdy ABV didnít show itself until the drinking was done. Many thanks to Bryan and Richard for another dandy of an IPA.

Draft tapping at the mug club event (Flossmoor, IL). Pours a lively amber, well hazed, a bit golden and glowing, with a big offwhite head that cakes well and sits atop and laces pretty well. Aromas are a good citrus melange, lemon and a good grapefruit, flowers, a faint pine, citrus is fairly dominant of lemon then grapefruit, a light caramel and pale malt base lurks beneath but the hops take over. Initial is fresh hoppy citrus elements of lemon and grapefruit, very smooth and a decent bitterness but more citrus, a touch of gumball, touch of pine, caramel and pale malts than are covered beneath, do their best to balance. Smooth, and easy down for an 8.2 percent beer. This is very tasty, a good display of citrusy and floral hops, without offensive bitterness, a bit of gumball and pine lie there as well. A very good fresh hop IPA. I donít know how well this will do in the bottle, but Iím excited to get people some bottles
