Pours a hazy gold orange color with a large, lingering head. Overwhelming aroma of grapefruit and pine. Very cool smell. Taste has strong malt flavor. Does not taste as much like the pine grapefruit mix it smells like. Some alcohol taste. Great smelling, decent tasting.

22 oz. bottle from HonkeyBra. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy off white head and sticky lacing. The aroma was almost candy like with tropical fruits and floral notes. The flavor had nice toasted bready malts with a heavy dose of fruits (pineapple, citrus). The finish does get a bit sweet, but I like sweet. Extremely drinkable and I wish I had more.

In short: A highly refreshing IPA lending towards the tropical fruits side of things. Very nice.
How: Bottle 22oz, green wax. Age unknown but probably fresh and consumed with a few weeks of receiving it from ygtbsm94, thanks a lot Brad.
The look: Very cloudy orange body topped by a medium white head with medium retention
In long: Crisp pale malts offers a sugary sweetness that is 50% caramel and 50% old honey turning sugary. The hopping is of the refreshing type, a little resinous but it is mainly fruity with tangerines, pineapples, grapefruits and such. Hints of green tea. This is an very refreshing IPA and it would be world-class if it wasn’t for this long sweet sugary finish. Another nice twist on the style from Flossmoor, tired of the same-old same-old? Try an IPA for change.

3/18/2009: Flossmoor IPA for Change has an aroma of sugary pineapple and hints of mango or something else tropical. The flavor has a really great toasted maltiness with great, soft, juicy citrus pineapple. Overall the flavor is sweet with sugary maltiness accompanied by a great, fresh, juicy hoppiness. Is is fresh, super tasty, and extremely drinkable. This is really just an awesome IPA.

22 oz bomber (dark green wax top) from Todd. Pours a hazy orange caramel with a medium off white head. Nice aroma of tangerine and grapefruit citrus, grassy notes, honey lemon tea, and orange drink mix powder. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, grassy notes, bread dough and honey lemon tea. Another nice one from Flossmoor.

Hunter green wax top. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Smells of resin, spice, earthy, tea, citrus. Tastes resiny and melony with some sticky sweetness and a peppery splash on the finish.

Bottle from Alexsdad06. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a drinkable beer and my expectations where met.
