On tap at the brewpub, quite some time ago. It had a bronze body with a so-so head. The aroma had a light touch of butterscotch with some herbal, earthy hops. The flavor was much the same - toffee/caramel/butterscotch with a mild earthy bitterness. Just okay.

On tap at Brew Pub. Pours a rich copperish amber color with a large white billowing head. The aroma was a mix of light citrus hops and a nice mellow bready malt. The taste is citrus and a little floral hops, with some malty sweetness that keeps the bitterness light through the finish. The body is light with moderate carbonation.

Mug club draft on tap at the brewpub (Flossmoor, IL). Enjoyed post wedding food tasting. Pours a richly glowing deep copper orange hue, a bit darker with some richer sunset hues, a healthy haze. A big cakey offwhite head is huge, sticks around firmly with solid lacing. Aromas are firmly floral, and earthy hop balance strikes with gentle lemony citrus, straw, and grass. Touches of pale malts, kisses of biscuits and a gentle waft of sweeter caramel. Earthy, middling with a solid bitterness and an underlying sweetness. Average, lacks complexity. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, touch of firm bitterness, florals and grass, gentle citrusy element and a kiss of melon up front. Dry bready malts, straw, and grass. Touches of biscuit, pale malt, bits of sweeter mellow malts in the middle. The finish remains a tocuch spicy, firmly bitter earthy hops travel on. Keeping this one out of the realm of sweetness, more earthy bitter and dry. A solid IPA, a bit lighter with a firm yet uninspiring hop profile. Solid, but a bit forgettable up against today’s American hop bombs. Solid.

On tap @ the Rev production brewery grand opening. Pours a near clear deep amber with a light brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of pine hops with a hint of grapefruit and a backing grain note. Flavor has a grassy pine note with some grains coming out but mainly bitter pine.

On tap at the pub in a pint glass. Pours a clear orange amber with a finger length white head that shrinks to nothing with decent lacing. Aroma is light tropical fruit, and mild caramel. Taste is similar. Apricot and pineapple with a caramel back. No alcohol present and a thin mouthfeel. Not bad but not great.
