COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed to celebrate the beginning of baseball season (More specifically, the Cubs). This lightly hopped pilsner has a nice malt body with flavors of fresh bread and a clean finish to make for a great session beer to enjoy whilst the game is on

phaleslu (6281) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 30, 2012
Draft at the pre-Dark Lord Day event, 2012. Pours a clear gold with lots of visible carbonation and a finger of frothy white head. Notes of bready, sweet malts, straw, earth, and some dank leafiness. Light-bodied, with a mouthfeel that starts dry and crisp and ends with some wet leafiness. Boo Cubs. Go Cards.

TheAlum (5575) - Lisle, Illinois, USA - APR 29, 2012
Draft on tap at the brewpub for Pre-DLD 2012(Flossmoor, IL). Pours a rich hazy golden hue, a frothy whitish head dies to a film, laces small. Aromas are touches of stinky yeast, dry florals and grass. Gentle spice, bready malts, and some mellow earth. Initial is lighter end, bready malts and some cereal grains, some earthy hops, a touch stinky, dry and earthy. Some grass, florals, spice. Middle is mellow dryness and spice lingering on, yeast gives some good takeover with spice, dryness, and almost a funky element. Finish is dry and mello, cereal and doughy malts, grass, florals, spice. Ok Pils for the warmer months.. but nothing to write home about.

This is light in color and slightly cloudy. Very light on the palate and has a refreshing taste. Not a lot to sink your teeth into on this one, but would be great on a hot day.
