COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Panama Limited Red is a hoppy, robust yet smooth amber ale brewed with nine different malts and four types of hops. With its deep amber color and rich malty body, our Panama Limited Red will smoothly transport you into the wonderful world of complex and flavorful handcrafted beers. Bottled Panama Red was a one off project and was brewed under contract. The bottled product IS NOT representive of our house brewed beer which is much hoppier and by far more malty.

On tap sampler from the restaurant in February--nice deep copper color with lots of lacing--at least as much lacing as you can get in a 4 oz glass. Caramel and citrus aroma with a malty taste. Good, solid finish with a touch of citrus.

Damn hoppy red, on tap at tap at the pub. Clear ruby with off white head. Aroma of an IPA, loads of grapefruit. Flavor dominated by hops, with a dry finish.

Draft at the brewpub. An opaque red brown beer with a nice frothy light tan head. The feel us smooth and kind of has fruit like pulp in the feel. The nose is hop forward with citrus. Those hops also define the flavor. They are pronounced yet subtle. Malt comes next and they are bready and yeasty. This is nice.

Live rate @ Flossmoor Station. Rainy, windy, cloudy day just outside of Chicago. Brew pours a deep, rich Oak Creek red...murky, rusty penny color. Small eggshell head leaves quickly but leaves a ton of sticky lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, roast, honey, and mild vanilla laced citrus. Lots of candied orange and vanilla in flavor as well accompanied by sweet malt and toffee. Medium to chewy mouthfeel. Not bad...glad I had a chance to try it!!!

Apr 27, tap@Flossmoore Sration. Pours clear  copper mahogany with a small off white head leaving nice lace. Aroma is soapy, hoppy and malty. Lean medium mouthfeel. Flavor is acidy, fruity citric, soapy, eaethy and well hopped. Finishes longlived bitter tart.

Reviewed from notes. Pours amber with a light tan head and some sticky lace. The nose is pretty malt with some bread, and then there is quite a bit of citrus hops on top of that. The taste strikes more of a balance, but this is definitely a fairly hoppy red ale. Good feel with nice bitterness and body. Pretty good overall. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 11-10-2010

On tap at the brewery, one of the highlights of a nice 12 sampler...Pours a dark copper with a light amber. The head on this makes the appearance, a awesome tope head with great retention and lacing that coats the glass the whole drinking experience top to bottom...The aroma is like a malty ipa, lots of caramel, with grass wet hops, its really appetizing...Taste is grass hops that have a fresh bite which is nice, maybe that bite is the rye. Very fresh and clean to hops, super fun and easy to drink. A brew worthy of getting.
