Our Panama Limited Red is a hoppy, robust yet smooth amber ale brewed with nine different malts and four types of hops. With its deep amber color and rich malty body, our Panama Limited Red will smoothly transport you into the wonderful world of complex and flavorful handcrafted beers. Bottled Panama Red was a one off project and was brewed under contract. The bottled product IS NOT representive of our house brewed beer which is much hoppier and by far more malty.

Nice imperial red here. It is hoppy and robust yet not a chore to finish. Malts and hops both shine.

On tap at Brew Pub. Pours a deep amber color with a light tan head and decent retention. Aroma is piney hops mainly, with notes of citrus and light caramel malt. Taste has a piney hop backbone with a light citrusy base and a bit of caramel malt. Medium to light bodied with medium carbonation.

Tap - big thick head, beautiful dark amber color, very nice big grapefruit hop aroma and favor, balanced well with sweet malt - almost more of an IPA than an Amber ale

Had on tap at Blind Pig in Champaign. Served in a pint glass. A: Pours a very deep purple and red mixture with a nice, 1 finger off white head. It clings to glass like webs creating a beautiful looking beer. S: I was so hyped up by how great the beer looked that the nose was a little bit of a let down. It wasn’t bad, but didn’t excite me. Bready malts with a subtle grapefruit and sweet berry. Pretty typical. T: The was slightly better with some sweeter, caramel malt notes and light hoppiness to it. Also present were some notes of grapefruit and a touch of sweet berry. M: Ample carbonation with a medium bodie and sticky sweet finish. O: The was a decent red, but there wasn’t anything that really caught my eye. Right about par for the style. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 11-22-2011

On tap at Flossmoor, poured an amber red color, aromas of caramle, light malt, citrus, and hops. Flavors follow suit, real hoppy in the aftertaste, nice beer overall.

On tap at the brewpub, pours a clear dark amber with a thick white head, the aroma has a nice citrus and hop touch with a nice malt backing as well, the flavor has a good hop kick in the front end with a balance of malt in the finish, very hoppy compared to standard amber ales but really works, nice.

On tap sampler from the restaurant in February--nice deep copper color with lots of lacing--at least as much lacing as you can get in a 4 oz glass. Caramel and citrus aroma with a malty taste. Good, solid finish with a touch of citrus.
