Our Panama Limited Red is a hoppy, robust yet smooth amber ale brewed with nine different malts and four types of hops. With its deep amber color and rich malty body, our Panama Limited Red will smoothly transport you into the wonderful world of complex and flavorful handcrafted beers. Bottled Panama Red was a one off project and was brewed under contract. The bottled product IS NOT representive of our house brewed beer which is much hoppier and by far more malty.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear reddish-amber color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus and caramel malt. Medium body with flavors of moderately bitter hops, toasted malt and grapefruit. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at flossmoo: pours a rich amber, with a nice light off white head with nice retention and lacing. This brew smells of piney hop and light malt, flavors are very similar. this was far more robust than i could have expected. The hop and malt seem to blend fairly well with a little bitterness at the end. a nice brew.

This is a nice red brown color w/ an off white head and some nice sheets of lacing. It’s doesn’t look like anything special but is a good beer regardless. Mild roast character is nicely complimented by an assertive piny bitterness. Medium bodied w/ creamy carbonation, this is a well done amber. This style is often either just blandly malty or just an APA w/ some extra color. This plays the darker grain character off the hops and does so well.

On tap at Flossmoor Station pre-DLD. Nice reddish-amber appearance with a small whitish head. Aroma is rough citrusy and earthy hops along with a sweet malty backbone. Flavor is similar to the aroma. Sweet caramel malt and a nice hop profile. Rough and citrusy, a little resinous. Very nice mouthfeel, with hop oils and medium body. Good for the style overall. Above average among the Flossmoor beers. Drinkable.

One of the 7 beers served at the IL. Craft Brewers Guild 5 by 5 Dinner at the Marion St. Cheese Market, Oak Park, IL. Poured a clear, reddish amber with a modest, off white head that diminished quickly to a ring and film, and left some light ribbons of lacing. The aroma was that of sweet fruit, citrus, and a touch of pine. The flavor added to these smooth caramel malt and supportive hop bitterness. A very fine Amber!
