On tap at the brewery, (also bomber for home) Pours a hazy golden color with a white creamy head. Has grapefruit ( what else)aroma. Lots of grapefruit, hint of pine, finish is a tad harsh. Very hopped IPA. Nice.

Bomber. Pours a slight hazed deep bright copper orange with a fluffy sticky white head. Aroma is big dank weedy hops, big citrus and pine with a medium caramel and crystal sharp sweetness with toffee. Flavor is big caramel, toffee, toast, munich big sweetness cut by grass, mint, pine and lots of grapefruit, sap, weed and dankness- slight ropey dankness as it warms- and a bit too sweet in the finish but still pretty fresh and enjoyable.

I’m pretty sure this is that bottle that I got. Deep orange color with a lasting off white head. Some doughy bread and oxidized hops in the nose. Big fruity taste with apricots, apples and pineapples, and lots of orange peel and candied grapefruit rinds from the hops. Almost like orange maralade on toast. I probably should have openned this bottle six months ago, but still a big hop bomb.

thanks tpd975 for the share. Gold wax. copper pour, white head. aroma, light malts, caramel, hops, mostly citrus and pine. flavors, hops profile is more attenuated than expected for a dipa, caramel malts was much more present, some pine/floral aspects with a mild carbonation. Hoppy side is moderate offering a mild bitter finish. Not a bad beer but not sure this one aged too well.

A: Pours a nice orange hue with an above average white head. Nice retention and some lace. S: Nice sweet malty aromas. Lots of caramel and toffee. Citrus is there with mild pine. Nice grassy hints as well. T: Sweet malts up front. Bold toffee, sweet, gooey, and good. Citrus hops are strongest with notes of sweet pine. A very mild amount of the grass I picked up in the nose. M: Rather full in body for the style. D: Pretty nice, a tasy IPA.

Gold wax bomber. Lightly hazy and dark orange-amber in color, the body is crowned with a compact, well retained, cream colored head. Random, patchy flares and spots of lacing mark the glass. The aroma is big in every sense of the word, both massively malty and hoppy. Toffee and caramel form a sweet, sugary smelling base, while bold orange, grapefruit, and pine hops lend substantial bitterness. There is a bit of unfortunate soapiness on the nose, however, throwing things a bit off-kilter. The flavor shows more of the same, syrupy sweet toffee layered with strikingly bitter pine, grass, and citrus. Full and dense on the palate, the sweetness gets to be a little bit cloying, and there’s a touch of astringency on the finish. Overall, it is a solid IIPA, but there are multiple flaws that slot this one towards the middle of the pack amongst the Flossmoor IPA bomber series.

Thanks, Bri! Hazy orange golden with medium head. Nice profile of floral hops and moderately sweet and syrupy malt. Very solid, and not too thick. Not refreshing, but light enough to feel like you could drink a bit of it.

Strong nose of orange and pine, cloudy orange, small tan head. Taste is a big hit of orange/pine, fully backed up by fine malt. Full bodied, very well balanced, great mouthfeel. Majestic! Thank You Torontoblue.

Had this one on tap at the brewery then I bought 4 bottles home with me. This is a suprisingly outstanding IPA. This one is the gold wax. Pours amber golden with a small head that dissapates fast. Aroma is sweet citrus, hops, and pine, sweet pine. Man I love my IPAs to have that piney aroma. Flavor doesn’t dissapoint, goes down like a monster double IPA but finished cleaner without heavy bitterness like a regular IPA. Very refreshing and perfect balance of hops where on hop is not too overpowering. Well done.
