COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A collaboration with City Provisions, 160 lbs of fresh Michigan strawberries and rhubarb were added to post fermentation to give a burst of fruit followed by a spicey, malty body and a dry finish.

Bottle. Hazy light orange liquid with medium white head. Aroma of lemon candy, white pepper, bubblegum, strawberries, lactic acid, and earth. Taste is light sweet and light sour with notes of grain, pepper and very light strawberries. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice and soft.

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Flossmoor, IL). Pours a richer hazed golden pour, dulled and darker. Some glowing orange gold edges with bigger cakey offwhite head. Stays firmly sized, laces ok. Aromas are strawberry and rhubarb, gentle grain and tartness mixn bread dough and straw. Strawberry grows as it warms, rhubarb synergy really is pleasant, tart and berry dominant. Touches of lemon, kiss of grass and soap. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied giving grainy sweetness, dough and cereal malts up front. A touch odf dryness, grass and grain, moving into mellopw strawberry, gentle fruit of apple, berry, and lemon. Some gentle tartness, kiss of rhubarb, some grass. Gentle sweetness into the middle, a touch of thickness. The strawberry and rhubarb are not as potent as the nose, but give some good play into the middle and into the backend. Backend and finish start into gentle strawberry, bread dough, gentle sweetness. Touches of grass, mellow yeast and a kiss of spice. A bit of dryness, some life from the additions. Tasty, a well done beer with good fruity tart nose, giving more of a 2nd fiddle feel into the backend and finish. Tasty.

Had this on tap at Park Tavern and was told it was an IPA by the server which I quickly figured out was incorrect. Pours hazy golden orange with white head. Aromas of strawberries, light spices, bit of citrus note. Flavor was sweet with strawberries and body was a little thin. ABV very well hidden. Didn’t really get a lot of rhubarb but really wasn’t looking for it either.

On draft at Flossmoor, poured a light hazy golden color with some red highlights. Aromas of strawberries, yeast, light spice and some rhubarb. Flavors are the same, light refreshing, rhubarb in the finish, nice beer that does not taste like 8%.
