COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This robust, dark brown ale gets its rich flavor from seven different malts and three types of hops. The addition of hand-toasted oats and a generous portion of molasses give the Pullman Nut Brown Ale an incredible smoothness and quaffability.

Bottle. Pours a dark opaque brown with lasting cream head, no lacing. Aroma is "brown chocolate basement" (thanks Huhzubendah) and chocolate dust. Flavor is "Diet Palo Santo" - solid, but not as good overall. Notes 2/15/10.

[Tap] Clear dark brown pour with a thin beige colored head. Nose is of caramel malts and a distinct nuttiness. Taste is mostly of darker roasted malts, pecan and milk chocolate. Dry and earthy grains in the finish. OK palate with moderate carbonation. A nice beer. Tasting notes from 11/2011.

This beer does have a smooth texture to it with an interesting profile which I’m assuming is from the molasses. A bit of a nut flavor but not very present.

On tap at aucheval, solid take on brown ale style , nice grassy and slightly floral hop qualities, caramel, coffee, toffee and roast qualities. not a style i am super enthralled by but nice to try a local take on the style

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with small white head that diminshes to nothing. The aroma is toasty nutiness and raisin. Medium mouthfeel with dry roast and caramel with toasty finish. Very good.
