Pours a lightly hazy peach with a 2 finger, creamy, light beige head that has great retention and leaves a nice sheet of lacing. Aroma is absolutley huge on sweet floral and citrus hops, stone fruit, a decent amout of tropical fruit (mango and pineapple), sweet malt, pear and a touch of sugary caramel. Reminds me a bit of fresh Hopslam, minus a bit of intensity. Flavor is light cereal, sweet caramel, tropical fruit (mostly pineapple in the flavor), citrus and floral hops, crystal malt sugary sweetness, pear, stone fruit, some floral honey and some ethanol. Palate is medium bodied, creamy on entry, moderately carbonated and pretty dry to the finish. All around this beer reminds me of Hopslam, just a bit too sweet and not quite as complex, though still deliscious.

Cloudy, copper with white head; decent lacing. Floral, sweet malt candy, and grapefruit aroma and flavor. Nice balance of sweet malt and bittering malts. Unique aroma and flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at the Maproom. Almost no aroma. English style hops, I presume, still a good IBU. Dark golden colour, with a big bubbly head. A fresh draft taste. Very drinkable.

bottle. hazy orange/amber with a small, stable, white head. earthy, caramel, bready malt nose with floral and light pine scented hops. a lot of malt in this full bodied ipa. drinks easy with low to moderate carbonation and a modest abv. heavy crystal malt and bready base malts provide a hearty canvas for the earthy piney simcoe, cutting galena and tropical amarillo hops. nice beer!

Had on draft dozens of times, first time review in a bottle. 22 oz bomber poured into a duvel tulip. 2 inch white head shrinks to cover a orange copper beer with slight haze. Aroma is grapefruit, floral, light pine, and caramel malt. Flavor is pine, bitter citrus, oranges, caramel, and toasted malt. Somewhat light mouthfeel and well hidden abv. This is a local classic that deserves national recognition.

Light brown pour, and not very hoppy for an IPA. Very clean and light and easy to drink. Little aroma.

Bomber to snifter (thanks Jeremy). Looks good; just as an IPA should. Smells decent, but a little lacking. Tastes pretty good. Just a little curious as to its freshness. Mouthfeel is good. Overall, a tasty brew - I look forward to trying their big boy lineup the day before DLD.

Bomber from the restaurant-mm, mm good. Nice cloudy, amber color with a thick head that lead to lots of lacing thoughout the drink. Rounded (yea, that’s what I said) aroma of pine and citrus, specifically grapefruit. Nice and hoppy, but not too much with a soft base of caramel malts. The finish was lip smacking without becoming overdone. With so many brewpubs brewing up IPAs, it’s great to have a really fine example.

Bomber. Earthy nose, grass, tobacco, caramel and some cinnamon. Cloudy ass brown color. Complex flavor with chocolate, caramel, orange, tobacco, grass. Funky hop flavor lasts forever. Pine, light mint, pepper. Rich and full. Good stuff.

Bottle brought back from Chicago. Very cloudy burnt orange color with a massive, gushing rocky head. The nose is strangely sour and alcoholic, some spun sugar and yeast. The taste is strange, sour with little of the citrus fruity hop flavor I was expecting. This just tastes acidic and corrupted. I’m almost certain this is a bad bottle. Shame. Re-rate needed!
