Oi, sweet syrupy fruit. Pale colour. Bit of a throwaway beer, with too much fruit extract and not enough beer.

(Druaght) Pours a lightly cloudy golden body with a average-sized white head. Aroma of artifical raspberry. Flavor of mild hops and raspberry syrup.

RBSG2003 Hazy, amber ale. Off-white fizzy head. The nose is of tart raspberries. Very tangy. Light raspberry flavor up front. Not overwhelmingly fruity. Very refreshing and lightly bitter on the backside. Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, dry finish. Excellent Summer brew!

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a hazy purple-amber color with a medium ivory white head that recedes to a film. Thick rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of raspberries and grainy malt. Light to medium body with flavors of tart raspberry, sweet malt and wheat. The finish is fruity with a slightly sour aftertaste. Pretty standard fruit beer overall.

Slightly murky yellow, nose hits the taget for wheat and raspberries. Sweet candy aroma of the fruit... almost like blueberries or "all-purpose fruit flavor". Flavor is bland and sour, not very good at all.

On tap at Flossmoor. Poured a clear medium amber with a short creamy white head and thick lacing. Raspberry puree is the most prominent feature of the aroma.. some wheaty notes and spices in the distance, but it was hard to get past the fruit. I really enjoyed the raspberries in the flavor.. fresh with tart wheaty accents.. sweet overall, but it was a good natural sweetness. Lighter-bodied with some tartness on the palate.. felt OK, good stuff overall!
