Remarkably spicy in a way greater than expected. Creamy aftertaste and a light and very cloudy color.

Bottle. Pours amber with a little soapy white head that dissipates to a nothingness. Aroma has sweet musty malt and warm bread. Taste is rather blah with notes of bread and malt and sweet water. Palate is thin with low carbonation and a slick dry finish. Blah...

Bottle. Light golden pour, a little carbonation and a light lemon aroma. Flavor is light grassy hay, a little cheese and a little sweet on the finish. Wouldn’t buy this one again at $8/bomber.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 fidelis83 (1354) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - SEP 6, 2011
Pours a nearly clear medium gold with a thin, soapy white head that has good retention and leaves few specks of lacing. Aroma is citrus and spicy hops, raw wheat and light tree fruit. Flavor is sweet crusty bread, sweet grainy wheat, orange peel, a touch of floral honey, spicy and citrus hops and a finish with starchy grain and a light citrus note. Palate is light bodied with a somewhat creamy entry, fairly hard, sharp carbonation and dry, slightly chalky finish. Not bad as far as American style Wheat Ales go, but not quite my cup o’ tea.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 dinkle50 (333) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 13, 2011
Had a bomber of this. Hardly any aroma at all. The aroma that is there is all honey. Thin head faded fast. Super golden color in the glass. Taste is grain and honey. Kind of sweet. Slick in the mouth, very light bodied.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 bhensonb (7586) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 29, 2011
Bomber from jrallen34. Pours very hazy orange gold with a very transient white head. Smells wheaty/malty with some citrus. Med minus body. Flavor is wheaty, but there’s some substantial malt, and some fairly intense hop spice - noble hop? - definitely finishes bitter. Strangely the body densifies with time, and it becomes less wheat like. Interesting beer.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 topherh (1766) - Kearney, Missouri, USA - JUN 23, 2011
Bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma is light wheat and citrus. Flavor is citrus, floral, light wheaty malt, and light hops with a lingering finish.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 douglas88 (3684) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - MAY 26, 2011
Bomber. Pours a somewhat cloudy copper color with a medium white head. The aroma is wheat, honey and banana. The flavor is a clean smooth wheat forward ale, some spices, banana, estery, quite easygoing and nice. A beer for after chopping wood.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Pailhead (3436) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - MAY 12, 2011
Bottle: The aroma is bready along with some light wheat, yeast, apple, faint citrus, and floral hops. It pours a cloudy dull orangish-yellow with a one finger white head that fades to a thin film within a minute or so. The lacing is minimal and spotty at best. The flavor starts yeasty with some faint wheat and bready notes. The finish has some light floral hops and a touch of spice. Light-medium bodied with mild carbonation and somewhat soft mouthfeel. I like wheat beers, but this isn’t what I had in mind. Overall, easily drinkable, but not something I would purchase again.
