Sampler flight at Flossmoor Station. Dark amber, no noticable nose. Honey and hops in flavor, a bit bitter; more of an IPA than a wheat in flavor. As a wheat, it disappoints, but since I hate wheats, I REALLY liked this.

Had this on draught at the brewpub in Flossmoor, Illinois. Light orange pour with no nose, floral and hoppy with a nice clean finish. Very unlike most other wheats I’ve had but this was good.

Draught at the brew pub. Clear light orange color with a thin white head that laced the glass. Not much in the way of aroma that dazzled my nose. Light citrus and biscuity malt flavor. Maybe a dash of caramel and molasses as well from sip to sip. Dry on the tongue, light and crisp at the end.

On tap at the brewery on 10/21/2006 at the 2nd monthly meeting of the Chicago Ratebeer group.

Clear yellow, no head, thin rim of white lacing. Nose is very thin, some malts. Taste is more yeasty and malty. Clean. Not bad.

Teh body was clear gold with a white head. The aroma was subtle with oranges and some bananas. The taste was light with orange peels and some banana. There was also some hints of pepper spice in teh finish. A soft mouthfeel.

Not much aroma, more body and sweetness. A little more bitterness. A little better.

Tap at Flossmoor. Small white head that mostly diminished, fine-small sized bubbles, excellent lacing, transparent, no visible carbonation, and a yellow hue. Aroma was malty, hoppy, crisp, and spicy. Sweet, malty, lightly hoppy, and crisp flavor. Smooth palate.
