Bomber. Pours a somewhat cloudy copper color with a medium white head. The aroma is wheat, honey and banana. The flavor is a clean smooth wheat forward ale, some spices, banana, estery, quite easygoing and nice. A beer for after chopping wood.

Bottle: The aroma is bready along with some light wheat, yeast, apple, faint citrus, and floral hops. It pours a cloudy dull orangish-yellow with a one finger white head that fades to a thin film within a minute or so. The lacing is minimal and spotty at best. The flavor starts yeasty with some faint wheat and bready notes. The finish has some light floral hops and a touch of spice. Light-medium bodied with mild carbonation and somewhat soft mouthfeel. I like wheat beers, but this isn’t what I had in mind. Overall, easily drinkable, but not something I would purchase again.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Hazy orange-tinted gold. Citrus-kissed wheaty palate. Straightforward, drinkable.

Apr 27, tap@Flossmoore Sration. Pours hazy orange amber with a small off white head leaving nice lace. Fruity, fresh slightly citric aroma. Flavor is yeasty, citric, bananas, wheaty and bitter. Acidy fruity palate. Finishes fruity and tart.

Aroma: some wheat malt and caramel aromas, sort of bready. Appearance: straw color, clear, little head and poor retention, minimal lacing. Flavor: a bit of bread and grain, some minimal hop character. Palate: light-medium body and low-medium carbonation.

Reviewed from notes. Pours a murky golden color with a very thin white head and not much in the way of lacing. Both the nose and the taste are pretty much the same in that they really don’t have anything besides some white bread and a hint of wheat. No real fruit, yeast, or hops; this is just pretty plain. Fairly light body. This is quaffable, but one is enough. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 11-10-2010

On tap at the brewpub...Pours a dark cloudy honey gold with disappointing retention and lacing...A very light aroma of lots of honey, wheat and clove. Nice, refreshing, but light...The taste is light wheat with a huge spicey kick, not really expecting it after the aroma and its slightly offputting. Evern if I was aware of the spice I don’t think i’d like it the way it is used in this honey wheat beer. There is a weird metallic finish which is not good. This is a decent wheat beer with a kick, great aroma, but a taste that has two disappointments that drags it down a bit.

Aroma is light orange/citrus. Color is hazy orange/yellow. Taste is wheat, malty, with a crisp hoppy finish. Moderate hops, but not too bitter. Smooth taste, 1 finger head dissipates to small ring. This one is great in all categories. A must try! A

22oz bottle (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a shaker at 40°. Color is a hazy golden with good carbonation and thick head. Aroma is a sweet citrus scent. Lighter medium body and a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is slightly sweet with the taste of grain and lemon zest then a touch of spice. In the after taste some bitterness comes in along with a sour note. Overall its just an odd take on a Wheat Ale.
