Bottle thanks to ilovedarkbeer. Sent in a photo to be uploaded. Pours with a small, off-white head and a hazy golden body. Wow, there are some hops in that aroma! Strong pine hops, Simcoe, with butterscotch and some slight citrus (C-hop). Taste is sweet with malt, bitter hops, very dank hops, and some peanut shells. Light bubbles, syrupy mouthfeel.

Thanks to Andrew for bringing the growler! Poured clear brighter orange with not a lot of head sticking around.. just a dusting of white. The aroma picked up sweet, juicy grapefruit and pineapple with lighter caramel backing.. quite sweet overall and very enjoyable. The flavor found sweet caramel, toffee, and lighter fruits (mango and pineapple primarily).. lots of caramelization and a bit of toffee on the back.. well balanced, and just a hair too sweet. Medium-bodied with nice balance.. again a tad too sweet.. refreshing!

Drunk from my new mug club mug: Matt’s really pushing the limits on this one. When does an IPA become an IIPA? This has a big hoppy aroma of grapefruit, pine, and a touch of tangerine zest sitting atop some sweet caramel malt. Good balance in the taste, tipping ever so slightly towards the hops. The only thing keeping this one from doubling is that the bitterness, although well sustained throughout the drink and the finish, isn’t quite as intense as in an IIPA. A very, very nice treat for this hophead.

Bomber. Pours a lighter copper and a bit more clear than their other DIPAs. Aroma is citrus cascade, lemon, orange peel, light mineral, leafy slight catty, mango hops over a light cara and crackery malt base- light sweetness. Flavor is mango, sharp citrus, flat orange soda, slight sweetness, orange lemon and grass with a less than clean bitter finish- seemed just a bit lackluster compared to the others.

Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours copper with thin tan head. The aroma is muted with spicy hops, earthy hops and faint malt sweetness with a faint notes of black tea in the background. The taste is pretty rich with pine hops, grapefruit and spicy hop flavor. It then begins to pick up notes of earthy hops and a pleasing thin layer of black tea. Very smooth and very tasty.

Lightly hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of wood, citrus, floral hops, some pine, and caramel malts. Taste of tea, grass, lemon, orange, toast, and what I would have pegged as sorachi ace hops.
