Objectively speaking: Surprisingly hop-focused ale aimed at drinkability.
I like: Pleasant fresh hop nose lets you know you’re in an All-American brewpub. Refreshment improved by a fun wheaty twist. Soft honey notes.
I dislike: Crisp graininess underneath may not be the greatest support. The same grainy profile lingers and lingers in the end. The hops manage to browse through it, but you’re more relieved and transported.

There is so little to this beer that it’s hard to rate. Little taste or flavor, it is almost like a Coors Light.

Apr 27, tap@Flossmoore Sration. Pours clear golden with nice creamy head leaving nice lace. Grsiny, hay, earthy and hoppy aroma. Low carbonation. Flavor is fruity, earthy, light bodied and quite so hoppy. Finishes with nice dry bitter aftertaste.

From December 2010 tasting notes. On tap at brewpub. Gold with a small white head. Wheat and honey aroma. Bread/yeast malt flavor with a bit of clove. Creamy medium body.

Reviewed from notes. Pours a golden color with a thin white head and not too much lacing. The nose brings some light grain and a bit of citrus. Very mild dough character. The flavor is pretty plain and muted as well, and just doesn’t have all that much going for it, even considering that it’s a blonde. Fairly nice feel and goes down smooth, but there are better offerings available there so I wouldn’t go back to this. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 11-10-2010

on tap into a tasting glass at the brew pub. Why oh why does each pub continue to dumb their self down to placate the dumb macro beer masses. This beer is nothing less than a crappy sell out. It looks and tastes exactly like a bmc. The taste is total garbage. At least the aroma has some character as its not at all skunk and provides a little sweet corn and actual hops. Avoid this unless it comes as a freebie in a sampler.

Sample at brewery. Straw color. Little head, clear beer. Low hops, low malt, lace around edges. Typical light beer with microbrew touch. My favorite easy going beer. It would be easy to drink a growler of this stuff. B+

Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a medium white head that burns away steadily. Jagged top ring of lacing with short strings underneath. Mildly hoppy aroma with some grainy malt notes. Light body with flavors of sweet malt, hops and fruit. The finish is clean and fruity with a slightly hoppy aftertaste. Alright beer overall.

Tap at brewery. Honey barley malt and light grass hops aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Light honey and bready malt flavor with hint of clove. Solid, nice drinking beer.

Draft at Flossmoor. Pours a clear gold with a fluffy white head. Nose is very toasty/bready and a kiss of hops. On taste, quite clean and fresh, definitely something you could drink a lot of without thinking too much. A bit of grass to go with the biscuity malts. Nice.
