Bottle. Hayish aroma. Bubbly golden, white cream. Medium body, chewy grain and spicy malt, good hop balance, grassy, light aromatic. Not super-christmassy, but a pleasnt Helles.

(bottle) pours a clear golden-yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of green apples and banana, slightly doughy, with a hint of cardboard and cinnamon. flavour is mostly the same, with light sweet spices, marzipan and an empty finish. comparatively light-bodied with average carbonation.

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 16, 2011
Test vom 24.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,6,7,9,8,7 - 7,30

Bottle(courtesy of joss!): Pale golden to golden, big fluffy head, that slowly collapses with a visible lace; grainy nose with a touch of wort and some grassy hops, medium bodoed and soft; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour; short - rather flat - sweet-bitter finish. Not really bad, but pretty simple.....

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Strawy malty and slightly doughy aroma with notes of herbal and metallic hops. Slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Strawy pale malt-character with doughy and slightly papery spots; moderately dry and slightly bitter finish with a tinge of metal. Quite boring Festbier. 16.VI.10

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Golden colour, mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is saktwater, some grains, grass and mildly caramelly aroma. Flavour is caramel malts, some saltwater as well as nice wooden and grassy hops. The grassyness grows towards the finish.
