Cask; Regular.
A dry, hoppy traditional bitter with a light bronze colour. Excellent on its own and particularly good with food.

Cask@GBBF2008. Pale amber colour with small head. Wooden sourness and some mild grassyness in aroma. Sweet fruits, wood and some caramel in the flavour. Stinging sweetness in the aftertaste, along with the bitterish notes.

Cask conditioned at The Black Boy, Winchester. Amber with white head. Proving that this pub can serve a decent beer, but strangely it was right next to another pump with Black Boy bitter, which is the same beer as this!! Hoppy, bitter, lasting session type beer, pretty reasonable, but not for 10p over 3 quid its not.

A Mes rate: gravicask at GBBF.
Light golden brown with a slim head. Faint hops with some one dimensional caramel malt. Faint peaty notes and a tiny lick of sourness that makes it seem like it is just about to turn. Bittersweet finish. Dull but inoffensive.

Cask, gravity at the Flowerpots brewpub, Cheriton, Hampshire 6th June 2008 Pours light amber tiny, tiny head very easy going bitter which is unlikely to offend anyone but the straightfordwardly traditional style also can make it appear ever so slightly ordinary, it was ok tasted fine with some light citrus and fruit and dryingtowards the end but my least favourite of the four on offer at the pub

(Cask at GBBF, London, 7 Aug 2008) Copper colour with brief, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of earthy hops and hints of yeast. Malty, fruity taste with orange, apricots, biscuity malt and earthy hops in a fairly bitter finish. Lots of taste considering the low abv. Decent bitter.

Cask (Red Lion, Overton ) - Golden/amber in colour. Fruity and lightly hoppy aroma with some faint grapefruit and tea notes. Fresh tasting with lemon and more grapefruit and tea elements.
