COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; First brewed Aug 2009, and due to huge demand it is now a semi-regular beer.
Brewed with powerful North American Simcoe hops to give a strong fruity hop flavour which balances the weight of malt in a traditional 6% IPA - very full and rounded in the mouth.

GBBF. Cask. Clear amber gold beer, decent cream coloured head. Smooth palate, semi soft and semi dry. Mildly caramel malt. Decent hops - bitter tangerine, grapefruit and an interesting streak of pineapple. Minerally dry finish with subdued marmalade hop bitteness and sweetness! Pretty decent IPA!

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 1. My last beer of the day, thank God, as this is about as drunk as I’ve been in months. Pours clear gold with a moderate, white head. Great nose, notes of citrus, grapefruit (which is citrus, I know, but still...), mild grass, some melon. Sweet flavor, slight caramel and bread, toast, mild citrusy bitterness, some honey. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Some stickiness to the finish, juicy hops, honey and caramel, toast. Good, very good stuff.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2010. Clear orange amber, lasting white head. Quite a good IPA. Lots of grapefruit hop, bit of sherbert. Some toffee, but not overly sweet. Really good competent wel made English IPA. Really drinkable.
