MesandSim (5790), London, Greater London, England Oct 25, 2009 A Mes rate. Cask at GBBF. Very clean bright gold with a thin and lasting white head. Aroma is ok, other than the slight egg and sulphur. The flavour is much better. Good malt, good hops. Fruity, balanced and earthy. Really tasty. imdownthepub (5089), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Oct 9, 2009 Cask conditioned at The Bell, Banbury. Straw with white head. Light and lemony, low abv beer, plenty of citrus notes with touches of orange and peach. Dry and refreshing in the close, very nice indeed. oh6gdx (8802), Vasa, Finland Aug 15, 2009 Cask@GBBF2009. Golden colour, mediumsized foamy white head, some lace. Aroma is wooden, toffeeish, fruity and floral hops along with mild herbal notes. Flavour is the same. Buttery and earthy finish. downender (2537), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England May 1, 2009 On gravity at Reading Beer Festival, 01/05/09. Pale gold in colour with no head. hoppy aroma of grapefruit, elderflowers and hay with a touch of sweet malts. Flavour had much the same, although marred slightly by a soapy edge, redeemed somewhat by a decent, dry finish.
