Cask handpump @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Clear medium amber brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, thin coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (020508)

Cask, gravity at the Flowerpots brewpub, Cheriton, Hampshire 6th June 2008 Pours very dark brown fading to a mid brown towards the edges. Nose was quite nice and very traditional methinks, with some good solid roasty and woody notes. Tasted very traditional and whilst it initially impressed I felt that it started to lack little as I go down it but interestingly aside from the gentle roasted flavours there was a slightly sour edge and I think that this was intentional with also some nice gentle hoppy flavours coming through, not bad.

A Mes rate: Gravicask @ Reading Beer Festival. Muddy brown colour. Chocolate malt nose let down by a little sulphur. Nice mellow and downable with most of the standard mild attributes. Run of the mill but certainly drinkable.

Gravity Cask @ Reading Beer Festival 07. Brown. Sweetish malty caramel and a little toastiness almost buttery toffee. Mild hop. Unimpressive but drinkable mild
