A Mes rate:
Gravicask @ Reading Beer Festival. Muddy brown colour. Chocolate malt nose let down by a little sulphur. Nice mellow and downable with most of the standard mild attributes. Run of the mill but certainly drinkable.

Cask, gravity at the Flowerpots brewpub, Cheriton, Hampshire 6th June 2008 Pours very dark brown fading to a mid brown towards the edges. Nose was quite nice and very traditional methinks, with some good solid roasty and woody notes. Tasted very traditional and whilst it initially impressed I felt that it started to lack little as I go down it but interestingly aside from the gentle roasted flavours there was a slightly sour edge and I think that this was intentional with also some nice gentle hoppy flavours coming through, not bad.
