Cask, gravity at the Flowerpots brewpub, Cheriton, Hampshire 6th and 7th June 2008 Pours light amber with a tiny sprinkling of white bubbles. Some malt and gentle sweet wafts on the aroma but it really was a very subtle nose. A tasty semi bitter/sweet beer that had a nice back up of hops that tingled nicely, sat outside this wonderful pub on such a glorious weekend was very moreish, so much so that we camped in the lovely field behind the pub. This was probably the best of the Flowerpots beers that I tried over the weekend and the one that I made my beer of choice after having tried all of the others. I’d had Cheriton beers in the past in my pre rate beer days but it was nice to see the new brewer and new brewery name doing well, a decent beer!

Cask (Guide Dog, Southampton) - Golden in colour. Slightly hoppy aroma with hints of tea. The taste is hoppy with hints of grapefruit and peach. The finish is moderately hoppy.
