UPDATED: FEB 29, 2012 On tap in London 04 aug11. Dark amber colour with a thick off white head. Mild malt and hoppy nose. Mild flavour but gives a nice mouthfeel. Medium sweet malt, light hoppy and a light roasted flavour in the background.

Cask. Amber with an off white medium head. Again, my nose is knackered so can’t smell fuck all. Flavour was a nice drinkable caramel with some light roasted malts and hop bitterness. I liked it.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2009 Unexpected rate at a Brewer’s Fayre-type place. Tawny amber with a nitro slick. Copper penny aroma. Watery with notes of rust, biscuit, caramel, nibble of hop extract. Thin, metallic and painful. But I drank it.

Keg beer tasted in Luton UK. A deep brownish colour. A proper amount of hops makes this a nice bitter.

This was pretty good for a northern, keg brew. A deep brown colour and enough hops there to make it interesting, if a tad watery and bland.

Keg at the Prince Albert, Dover, England. It looks very nice, with a clear, still, copper-colored body and a nice, beige head leaving nice lacings. A bit big-bubbled head. The aroma is a bit weak, but balanced with malt and hops. The flavor is malty, with caramel, a light roasted note and some hops. Medium body and a mostly malty finish, but there’s some hops there too. A quaffable beer. (060713)
