Keg. Malt aroma. Very little hop flavour. Hops only show up in the bitter finish. Bland and lacking in hop flavour and aroma.

1. Keg Handpump at Lavins Wine Bar, Northwich 30/05/2000 Smooth on the palate and slightly sweet. 2. Keg Handpump at Lavins Wine Bar, Northwich 22/03/2001 Smooth on the palate and malty. 3. Keg Handpump at Lavins Wine Bar, Northwich 12/06/2001 Smooth and creamy. Some lemon flavour. 4. Keg Handpump at Lavins Wine Bar, Northwich 23/07/2001 Amber and pale with a hop finish. 5. Keg Handpump at Lavins Wine Bar, Northwich 04/10/2001 Mid brown very fruity and citrus. 6. Keg Handpump at the Volunteer, Northwich 24/12/2008 Some hop aroma. White head. Golden coloured crisp and smooth on the palate with a slightly dry bitter finish.

On Tap at Fish Central Restaurant. Copper colored, rather watery and light. Very malty flavour hints of citric fruits. A bit uninspiring, but a worthy companion to a fish and chips meal.

Keg. Pear aroma with just a bit of hops. Malty flavor, even a bit sweetish, with mustard and peach. Only a hint of hoppiness in the bland aftertaste. Thin, watery and boring IPA that doesn't really deserve that name.
