Nose of toasted malts, caramel, light residual sugar, spicy hop nots, pine, pepper and dank. Pours amber, nice creamy head and decent lace. Flavors of toasted malts, caramel, not iced tea - but a decent amount of caramel/toffee with medium sweetness and some residual sugars. Balanced. Hop flavor is spicy initially, black pepper, and then piney dank rounds out the finish. Not necessarily my favorite combination of hop/malt flavor but it was well put together, smooth, full creamy bodied with good drinkability for the percentage.

Sampled on tap at SIB. Pours a golden orange. Aroma of citrus hops and caramel. Flavour of citrus hops, caramel and dark fruits. Bitter, well balanced with the limited flavours to work with. A little too thin for my taste, however.

Sampled on tap at SIB, pours golden orange. Aroma of citrus hops and caramel. Flavour of buttery caramel, piney, resinous hops with just enough malt backing. Solid IIPA.

BillKismet (2760) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 31, 2011
Amber-bodied, red-tinged with light cream head. Light floral notes, but overall, pretty reserved for an IPA. The body is smooth, bitterish and a mesh of floral and fruity, but pretty ordinary stuff.

Draft at uber. Pours a slightly hazy burnished dark amber with a loose creamy tan film. Light drippy lace. Nose is surprisingly mild, showing a bit of floral and tangerine character. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Toast, caramel and a bit of orangey citric acid on the mid palate. Mild finish. Needs more aromatics and power behind the flavor.
