COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed for 2nd Annual Buffalo Cask Event.Flying Bison Junkshow Red Card- What happens when you combine German malt, English ale yeast, and an aggressive amount of American hops? A Junkshow of course! This brew is a rare treat indeed- A deliciously hoppy and sessionable Red Ale brewed at Flying Bison Brewery with the help of the Junkshow Brew Club...And a few pints. O.G.1060. 40 IBUs.

I too had a hand in brewing this beer. A wise man once said... (nobody remembers his name so how wise was he) to be your own toughest critic: Light hop aroma, full sweet malt almost caramel flavor. Could use a little more on the dry hop and mouthfeel but certainly a very sessionable beer. Next round will be filtered and kegged and made with a yeast that will attenuate before drinking.... not in your lower intestine. GREAT BEER TEAM! May it be the first of many!

cask, Coles- admittedly, I’m biased as I had a hand in brewing the beer. But, I can be somewhat objective- deep red, decent head retention- not much in the way of aroma- some sweet malt- very drinkable brew, and tasty- flavor is bready, backed up by a firm bitterness, and lingering hop spice. A bit thin, but not enough to bother me. Could and did drink quite a few.

on Cask @ Coles Cask Event 2009. Iced Tea colored pour. Aromas of sweet malts, caramel, hops. Taste is mild bitterness, bready, light spice, sweet malts. Good effort by the Junkshow Crew
