This is a decent amber colored brew. It is a bit caramelly for the style maybe but is still pretty tasty and dry with solid bitterness in the finish. It has a nice noble hop character and a good bit of bready malt a well. I wasnít sure what to expect from a lager from this brewery but this is really pretty good.

Deep red-orange. Just a finger of head. Classic Vienna appearance. Slow, tiny bubbles. Aroma is very sugary, with a very heavy toffee/molasses undercurrent. Touch of black licorice. There some dates that are very mild. Taste is sugary, heavy caramel. Itís just malts, no hops can be detected. The feel is thick and a little chunky, like a shag carpet. Itís a very sweet American ale. not a hop to be found. It would be tempting to compare it to macrocrap like Yuengling (itís closest cousin) but the flavors are good and complex enough to separate it.

This one poured a deep amber colour with a smooth, creamy off white head. Scents include a little ripe fruit, old attic and sweet malt. First swig was a little watery with flavours of must and nuts with a little ripe fruit. Finish is a little musty with malty flavours lingering.

12oz bottle from a Tops grocery store in Buffalo, NY. A gloden amber pour with a trace of translucent head; some grassy hops on the nose; sweet, malty body, but rather thin; and with a bready caramel finish. Very pleasant.

Clear, light amber pour with a white head. The aroma is malty with sweet bread, caramel, and nuts. It has a light, thin body with average carbonation. The taste is bland and dry.

BA transfer - Poured from growler into pint glass Appearance - A golden - orange color forming a white head upon pouring. Smell - A warming toffee and malty aroma. Fits the image of the beer to a T. Taste - Some maltiness first meet the thong. This gives away to a bit of unexpected hoppiness. At the end a nice sweetness ends off the experience. Mouthfeel - A nice level of carbonation and body. Very drinkable and suitable for the style. Overall - Quite a nice beer for sitting and continually sipping over and evening.

12 oz bottle. Pours amber with long lasting white head. Aroma is of Noble hops and biscuit malt. Body is medium and crisp. Grassy hops, bready malt and some caramel combine on the palate. Long finish becomes dry. Overall this is OK brew.

on tap at Brunners in B Lo, downed a pitcher of this stuff real quick like along with some of best grilled wings Iíve ever had. Wow good solid beer, some sweet malt along with a hint of hops. Really good but it may have been the wings. I donít know would drink again
