2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Rando7 (488) - Iowa, USA - MAY 3, 2012
Bottle pours medium copper with persistent foamy white head. Aroma fruity with adjunct tones. Taste OK, kind of weak malts and a bit metallic. Palate watery. Finish slightly prolonged mild hop bitterness. Alcohol not apparent.
Just not a lot going on with this beer. I can’t even call it a good session beer since there isn’t anything about it to make me want another, and it borders on unpleasant.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rustyham (1396) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 1, 2012
Average malty flavor, lager like fizziness. Hops are earthy, a little biting in the bitterness department. Balanced, smooth, but a little uninspired

On tap at the brewery. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet and nutty malt aroma. The flavor has sweet caramel up front and a moderate bitterness in the finish. A decent amber ale.

Tasted a sampler of this at Pizza Plant. Pours a dark golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malts and sweetness. Taste is a sweet malted amber that is very drinkable but is also very safe. Easy drinking.

Tap at Mr. Goodbar. Amber pour with a tight white head. The aroma is lightly toasty with some distinctly earthy hop aroma. There is a little bit of soft fruitiness along with some light malt character. A bit of yeasty esters but these are fairly restrained. Malts have a touch of sweetness. Overall, it seems like an exercise in restraint - it’s clean and quaffable though. Decent brew.
